You do not need to be a health nut to enjoy Feast’s affordable grub. Everything is stuffed with healthy goodness, sure, but Feast is also simply a great spot to snag lunch on your way to Bellwoods park, regardless of your dietary leanings. Tried their jerk chicken pie, pizza, and triple chocolate donut — all were real yummy. Highly recommended.

I was in Toronto recently from Calgary and heard about this place from my husband. I have a severe nut allergy and he knows I’m always on the look out for new nut-allergy friendly places. I went in and was immediately greeted with a smile. I felt like a kid in a candy store: «what do you mean I can have sunflower seed butter??! You mean I can have sunflower seeds without worrying about cross-contamination risk? Ooh look there’s chocolate!!!» As the lady watched me, she was still smiling and offered me samples. She noted my hesitation and was quick re-assure me that it was safe and all her sources guarantee allergen friendly. After having a few samples and wanting to buy the whole store, I got a few items I knew I would never find back home(trail mix, seed mix, granola bars, granola, chocolate and sunflower seed and chocolate spread). I am very happy with my purchases and would highly recommend any allergy sufferer to check them out to support them! I just wish we had them in Calgary!

My friend and I came in to check out what they had to offer on the weekend. I had always wanted to try coconut bacon and had heard that Feasts«bacon» was unreal. We picked some up to try in a salad at home and wow! I loved it. I felt like I was eating bacon, the texture, the taste and smell were all there. I was very impressed. I would definitely come back and purchase the coconut bacon.

Great space. Had two great doughnuts(cinnamon and chocolate) and will be going back to try a veggie pocket pie.

On a cold Fall day, their vegan gluten free veggie pocket totally hit the spot. Sorry but for 5 bucks, you can’t go wrong! Then the cinnamon vanilla donut was melt in your mouth moist and delicious. The donut was 3 bucks — a bit pricey… but still yummers

Truthfully, I would like to give this place a 3.5 star rating, but 4 stars it is. For some reason I was under the impression that there would be a far greater selection of freshly baked goods, and thus a lot more vegan stuff. And I’ve heard a couple of rave reviews so I was stoked for some good gluten free pastry action. There was only one vegan savoury pocket, and it was a very mediocre curried black bean affair. I had it heated up(they use a microwave), and the result was an overly soft, overheated pastry. The filling was very bland, to my taste. Quite disappointing, and just a wee bit overpriced for the product. The saving grace was a small but delightful cinnamon doughnut that made my mouth forget all about the bland beans that came before it. I think that Feast is a place that I would stop in for a coffee and a doughnut on my way to Trinity Bellwoods Park, but for serious gf vegan pastry cravings I will continue to hop on over to Bunners.

I was really excited to see the poster of what this new shop was going to be as someone who has a lot of allergies. I was a little disappointed though… they have limited variety of ready made food and b/c they are trying to avoid several top allergens, they are limited in their selection. Fresh food — I’ve tried the vegetarian pocket pie which was excellent — $ 5 I also tried the chocolate donut. It was ok — I think it was $ 3.50 They had packaged quinoa salad that seemed very overpriced. (While, I am sure rent is high — still seemed quite high). They do have packaged food, like Mary’s crackers and some more harder to find gluten free, nut free etc. products. Since I mainly buy this kind of stuff at Kensington for much cheaper, I probably wouldn’t buy anything here — except something hard to find. I hate writing a so-so review on a business that took a risk to help support the allergy ridden folks. I hope they are able to cook/bake more diverse products but it will be hard if they are trying to avoid so many allergens. They may want to stick to a few and note what each product is free of… Really great to have this place though if you are heading to the park and need some gluten free treats. The actual space is also very nice and modern. There is one bar table in the front if you want to eat in(limited seating). Good luck FEAST!

Just had the BEST, Gluten free, picnic lunch from FEAST. I tried 3 pocket pie flavors, jerk chicken(fav), vegan, beef. All excellent, I couldn’t be more impressed with texture and combination of flavors. This is a MUSTTRY! What a gem to have in the neighborhood. The donuts were amazing! I tried them all, again the flavor and texture can’t be beat. Free of the top 8 allergens, SOTASTY for someone like me who doesn’t have any allergies
