This review is not about any particular Fedex location but just Fedex in general. Anyone who is reading this review please, please do me a favour and don’t ever choose them as your courier choice. They are expensive and have very poor customer service. I called in to try to pay for an invoice that was billed to me and was happy to pay for it but lost my original invoice. I asked if there was a way to find out so I can pay for it. All I get from them was«sorry we can’t find your invoice without an invoice number». How the heck with such a big company that you can’t find an invoice through other means. It was hard to believe and mind blowing. I think what was most upsetting was they didn’t even try to offer other ways to help solve my problem. I asked the customer service rep was there another way to pay the bill without the actual invoice and«Lo and behold» I get the same reply«sorry we can’t find your invoice without the invoice number». So sad to see that Fedex hasn’t taught their employees how to troubleshoot. They might as well hire robots instead because I can honestly say it doesn’t make a difference.

This is a basic fed ex location. Extra star for being centrally located and quite accessible by ttc, I do like their card system where they give you a reusable card for printing and photocopy purposes. Service can come across as rude at times but in the past I’ve had helpful encounters. I’m not overly impressed though.

If I had to choose between being mauled by a starved lion and stepping into this place again, I’m pretty sure the choice would be clear — I’ll just go get my Safari gear on. They’re a 24⁄7 place. To me that signals«woohoo, last minute projects are accomplished here». Not so much. It takes FOREVER to get anything done. And forever sucks because they charge you to use the computers. 20c/min. It isn’t a lot. But it’s messed up that I’m paying them for the special paper + for the ink + for the printing + for computer time. And you end up using a tonne of computer time because you have to wait for the staff. They have to authorize every single print job that goes from the desktops to the printers. No one was interested in helping me. They were all busy with some«vague VIP corporate project». The way they turned up their noses at a «walk-in». It was like I had just announced I was HIV+. Basically, NO.

A PEPPERPLAY: EW: My computer IS connected to my printer! *Taps fingers anxiously.* EW: My printer IS turned on!” *Clenches hands into fists.* EW: I WILLKILLYOU! *Slams laptop shut, shoves it in bag and runs out door without brushing hair towards FedEx/Kinkos.* — - - The above was my morning. I sincerely hope yours was better. Thank heavens for this FedEx/Kinkos location. You go in, you go right to a computer and stick your credit card in and use their goods for 20 cents a minute. You don’t even need to speak to anyone! And today, honestly, lucky for them. Head here when your printer decides to take a sick day to open up that bastardly PDF that you need print to sign(and then take a photo of and then email back*…) *Adobe Echosign is a God among men… err… programs. Everyone should embrace it.

Even though I don’t like going into this place, the service from a gentleman named Howard who works there is good! He is helpful and funny.

This store is very convenient when your printer decides to die the day before your presentation. You can make colour copies, send a fax, use their internet, all for a convenient and competitive price. Plus they’re open 24 hours which is perfect for really tight deadlines.
