I’ve had a couple of upholstery projects over the years made possible and affordable only by Foamite. They CUSTOM cut foam to your specifications and are STILL about half the price as the very few other places that sell foam.
They’re friendly, helpful, professional. I had my foam custom cut and ready for pickup in just over a week. They have a ton of variety when it comes to density and materials.
Truly make upholstery projects a breeze. Now is I could just start paying a bit more attention to the actual upholstering portion of my projects…

I had some odd-​sized pillow cases that I picked up at the One of a Kind Show and I wanted a pillow insert that was not made from factory-​farm byproduct dead bird feathers for ethical and health reasons.
One of the owner’s of FLUF Design recommended Foamite to me for a sustainable and locally manufactured pillow inserts that I could custom order. They make mattresses and a bunch of other products, some from soy-​based foam.
I gave them a call, placed my order and it was ready to pick up about 10 days later. They’re located right on the subway line, so pick up was easy and they’re open late enough during the week that you can drop by after work.
