Went here last saturday for a friend’s birthday. Cheap booze, free popcorn, bathrooms a little creepy, but great atmosphere to have a group of friends hang out and actually lounge without have music blaring at high volumes. Would I go back, hell yeah! free popcorn man!

Was brought here by a friend to celebrate someone’s birthday. I have never been here before and when I heard lounge, I had expected it to be one. This place is more of a bar than anything but it is quite a hidden gem. Hidden in Koreatown, it is on the second floor and when I first saw the door to the place I thought it would be so shady but that wasn’t the case. The bar was fun with Kpop music videos playing on the screen and service was good. The yogurt soju cocktail was good and they had deals where the alcohol came with food, which was awesome since the food soaked up the alcohol. All in all, I had wonderful night.

Came here a few times and it was great. It looks sketchy but when you go up those stairs it’s not as bad. The owner there is really nice and friendly. Exceptional service from the staff and a comfortable ambiance. It’s dim, quite spacious and accompanied mainstream music. They have bucket of beers(5) for less than $ 15 bucks. They also serve popcorn as a complimentary snack. It gets pretty loud when the place gets filled but it doesn’t matter to us since we always end up being the loudest, haha. The crowd is mainly students. Overall, it’s a place where young people get drunk from playing drinking games and a comfortable place to hang with a large crowd. It’s just another korean lounge; nothing special. Check it out if you’re in the area!

This is honestly the best bar in tdot. That yogurt soju drink, the bomb. The lady who owns the place, lucy, shes a one in a million kinda lady. Definitely a keeper. The place looks ghetto but the memories are gold, from what i could remember. tbh i just love this place

Lychee cocktail and peach cocktail are seriously the best! This place offers affordable drinks and complementary popcorn. Loud atmosphere, dim lighting and tons of multicoloured string lights. Many televisions and there are cards and dice that you can ask for. One star off because the bathroom stall locks are broken. I recommend going to the bathroom with a friend to hold the door shut.

5 stars 100% and why? you can get a bucket of beers(4 or 5) with an appetizer for $ 20…ya $ 20. You can’t get that anywhere in the city. That is all you need to know about this place so if you haven’t gone i suggest checking it out.

I’ve never set foot in Korea but I’ve gallivanted through Koreatown in both LA and NYC — this place is the most Korean place I’ve ever been to. Much like when I was at a night market in the parking lot of a casino — that is the most Chinese place in the world(outside of China). It’s your typical dark Korean lounge — it looks shady from the outside but when you’re upstairs, it’s another lounge temple to K-Pop. This is all you need to know: complimentary popcorn and $ 20 for 5 unopened domestic bottles(or a bottle of soju) and plate of food for sharing. I ordered the sweet and sour pork, which was predictably shitty. But consider the combo price, the fact that it was edible gives them a passing score. If I was still in school, this place would be 5-stars for me. I must repeat: A plate of food and 5 unopened bottles of Labatts or Coors. But yup — as one of Korean friends said, «Koreans are the Irish of Asia» — religious and love getting drunk. This is the place to get ‘Korean drunk’. They also have bottle service at pretty reasonable prices and — OBVIOUSLY — there’s Chivas and green tea at the touch of your ‘call for service’ button at your table. How Korean is that?

I came here a few years ago but I vaguely remembered much about it. But last night, as I was walking down Koreantown with two friends searching for a place to hang out late in the evening, I looked up and suddenly recognized the orange sign! My friends immediately said, «Uhh… It looks kinda shady!» LOL… but I told them, «I think I’ve been here before so it can’t be that bad… Lets check it out!» (I must admit… If it wasn’t for some friends who brought me here a few years ago, I wouldn’t have dared to go in because the main entrance isn’t the most inviting. There isn’t a lot of signage outside and the actual lounge is on the 2nd floor so you’d have know idea what it was like up there. On the outside, it looks like a hole in the wall but when once you’re up there, the place is actually quite decent and spacious.) Anyway, when we went up, we were immediately greeted by the host who took us to a table in the back. The atmosphere was great! The lights were dimmed, there were a few groups of people here and there, and Korean pop music playing in the background. Although the music was turned up a notch soon after, we were still able to have a normal conversation. Oh, and they played Gangnam Style a gazillion times but I didn’t mind at all! :) The service was prompt and courteous. As soon as we pressed the service button, a server would arrive at our table right away. I liked that there was a lot snack options but from my understanding, you can only order ONE dish for $ 20 or $ 25(depending on which list you choose from) and with the order, comes with your choice of a) 5 bottles of beer, b) 1 bottle of soju, or c) 1 soju cocktail. Ideally, I would’ve liked to have the option of ordering some small side dishes individually. But it was still OK, there was complimentary popcorn and our order of spicy squid was really tasty! It turned out to be just the right amount of food because we had dinner before coming here. My friends and I had a good time! They said they’d love to bring some other friends here in the near future too!
