Came in the other day to do a little shopping. Found a lot of the pieces on the site in store which i was happy about. Sales staff were polite and courteous ! I will def come back here to do more shopping ! It was a bit hot in the store but other then that no complaints.

Located in Yorkville(across from Anthropologie which I think is owned by the same company anyways), this store has a downstairs(separate entrance) where the lingerie, shapers and some pjs are kept. I did love some of the bras — they were just unique and sexy and just beautiful. And expensive… one bra I really loved was $ 88. I just couldn’t justify it. I didn’t see one bra that had any padding — mostly all sheer which is unfortunate because if you aren’t blessed in the chest department I don’t think they would look as well as compared to someone who could fill it out. Go outside and then upstairs is where the clothing is. Located on 2 levels it of course has the feel of Anthropologie and similar pricing. This week they have 30% off their sale items. Some jewelry, shoes but mostly clothes I wasn’t that impressed by the clothing. I more so loved the lingerie. If you have any sexy time coming up(Valentines Day??!) and just want something that makes you feel lovely then definitely check out their bras.

Went there just had a look… First time in yorkville and is it a mimic of soho in New York? Great store tho but I prefer to order free people clothes online. Anthopologie is at the opposite of street. You can compare these two and make your choice

If the proximity of Free People to Anthropologie seems coincidental, it’s not as both stores are run by Urban Outfitters Inc. Free People has a decidedly casually laid back South Western vibe. If Hansel from Zoolander had a little sister named Helga, she would totally chillax and shop here, y’know maybe before she goes rappelling down Mt. Vesuvius. It’s a triplex temple of boho chic with the majority of clothing and jewellry on the main level, groovy changerooms are on the 3rd floor and the basement level has great lingerie that effortlessly skirts the line between sexy and girly, without sinking into the dreaded Lolita/pedo territory, if you know what I mean! Service was helpful but not pushy or intrusive, which is nice. Pricing is within Yorkville parameters, the really pretty T-shirt I bought was $ 48, but I felt it was worth it, as I’ve worn it a tonne of times and gotten multiple compliments :) If you like well merchandised boutiques with rustic, vintage-y contemporary inspired goods, in a chilled out atmosphere then Free People will release your inner-hippy shopoholic.
