Freshly Squeezed, the number three Juice Bar chain in Canada. I wonder why. Is it because the only actual «freshly squeezed» juice is orange? OK, maybe they have carrot or something else like that.
Take a look at the 80’s-esk juice dispensers behind the counter.
I took a chance on the Pina Colada smoothie. They took some pineapple juice, and went to the back for some coconut, and tossed some ice in, then blended it. The result? A not that cold, watery almost tasteless slurry.
If you think about it, if you add ice, everything will come out watery if you don’t add concentrate. They server the juices as is if you don’t want a smoothie, so watery it is for smoothie lovers …
I’d rather go to a Booster Juice and get freshly blended whole fruit, (in addition to juice) in my smoothie.
Verdict:
Off to Booster Juice in Metro Hall.
