I buy a lot of my clothes here. I’m not really hip when it comes to fashion, so if it means getting 30−60% off because it’s from last season then I’m all for it. Gap clothes are pretty basic and classic, so I like getting simple dress shirts and sweaters from here. Quality can be a little dodgy at times, but for the most part I feel like I’m getting some solid gear at a very reasonable price. Boxer shorts are like 5 bucks! Sales peeps can range from great to not-so-friendly, but it’s the Dufferin Mall so I’m not exactly looking for anything too amazing when it comes to customer service. I do like to pop in whenever I can and take a browse. The men’s section is pretty small so it doesn’t take long to figure out when they’ve got new product in or not. Can usually always find one or two simple & inexpensive items to add to my small wardrobe, so I really can’t complain. Very happy these guys are in my neighbourhood.

I don’t know what happened here just before I arrived but this store was a disaster zone at about 2:00 on a Friday. Every table, display, and rack was out of sorts. The staff seemed to be scrambling a bit, mostly trying to clear out the backlog of discarded clothing from the fitting rooms. Once I dug through the denim wall and found a couple sizes to try on I ventured over to the fitting rooms. There was no one there to help me but I found an open door so I got down to business. When I was done there was an obviously flustered employee to take the items I didn’t want. At the till there was only one cashier. Not a completely terrible thing as there was only two people ahead of me, but it did take a while to get through those people. If this store was crazy early on a Friday afternoon, I would hate to see what it looks like on the weekend.
