At first I was very attracted to this store, as it has nice designs and great prices. After buying a few pieces, I had Gem Designs design/​make a piece of jewelery for me and the gold chain broke 3 times. They kept fixing it and charging me for the repairs. In the end, it turns out that it never should have been repaired and should have been replaced instead. They took my money and didn’t even apologize for not fixing it properly. I will not be going back, as they were not accountable and did not take ownership of the situation.

6 metres away from the window, I saw something sparkle unlike I had ever before. Coming in for a closer look to see what could produce such an impressive effect, I saw a spectacular micropave engagement ring which screamed my name. After trying the custom route, Tiffany, Birks, and everyone in between, I returned to this ring which now sits beautifully upon my finger and fetches more compliments than I can count. The best part: deep, deep discounts!
The family which runs this shop imports the finest designs and stones from Hong Kong, and are the empitome of class. Sabrina, thank you for being so accomodating to my requests and adjustments. The service was so personalized and professional, my now husband and I also purchased our wedding bands from Gem Designs Jewellery. Full marks, 10/​10, a hidden gem, pun intended!
