Here at Polson Pier Go-Karts our staff’s #1 priority is the customers safety. Each kart weighs approximately 500lbs and make speeds up to 35km/h. We take drivers of all experience levels, many first time drivers. To keep a safe and fun environment for everyone our staff has to be very vocal with each other and the customers. There are many elements of risk that the customer may not see. In some cases the customer is putting others at risk with unsafe/erratic driving. If you feel you have been treated poorly after interacting with the staff, that is not our intention. We want you to be safe and have fun. We would like our customers to be conscious that this is a family place, with many first time, nervous drivers. We do not tolerate erratic driving as it puts not only other customers but the staff in danger.

Worst experience ever, none of the carts are same speed. Couple of them are fast and would go past you over and over again and rest would just slowly go with the flow. Also the workers are assholes

This review is written by my nephew. A wonderful polite and reasonable young man. He was so shocked by the following experience: «I expressed the problems that I had with my car to the manager and he threatened to call the police and told me to leave his property. Most ridiculous experience. This place doesn’t even deserve any stars at all. « I have taken the kids there before nothing special expensive for poor cars and service. But kids love to pretend to drive… But after this experience will never return. Shame on them!

The cashier and technician, both older and not to be confused with the very helpful and friendly marshalls on the track, were rude and confrontational when I complained that my kart was slower than the others(I started in third and was lapped by half the grid multiple times — and yes, I know how to drive). When I complained they essentially insinuated I was lying to get free laps.(Nice, eh? I was pretty insulted.) Eventually the technician, grumbling and visibly skeptical, said I could try another car — I ended up winning the next race by over half a lap. ***Goes to show you the karts all operate at different speeds, making racing nearly impossible. And they really don’t give a shit about that.

Dennifer(what I call my boyfriend Denis) and I came here on Sunday. This was attempt number four to go racing. First time, they’re closed for the rain. Second time, there’s a private event. Third time, stupid Jays traffic. Say what you can about our luck — we are a persistent f***ing couple. We paid $ 24 for the 20min round(includes tax). I would definitely recommend the hair nets so your head doesn’t have to interact with other people’s sweat when you put the helmets on. The staff guy also lent me a towel because I was wearing a short skirt — impressive foresight on their part. The racing itself: Dennifer kicked my butt obviously. I found the track to be a bit small(but it’s right DT so whaddya expect). The cars don’t go very fast. There’s more turning than speeding involved. Staff were okay-ish on the phone and in person. Parking is free with racing. Probably won’t return.

23 dollars for 20 mins. i found it hard to pass people, maybe it is because the corners or w. e but it was fun. I still found it a bit pricy. It has free parking which is nice. I come from Rhil and I just go from the don valley onto a less than 5min drive to the polson pier place. I also went when they opened noon so i do not know how line ups are later on during the day.

Don’t ever give your email to this business they are spammers and floolish enough to refuse with insult to remove your email address from their spam list. The business tricked us in giving our email to validate a groupon coupon, biggest digital mistake ever. The business decided to email all groupon users and now our emails are shared with hundreds of strangers and the business refuse to remove our email address. just for the record. They never had nor requested our permissions to receive spam. They are completely not professionals, when we requested our emails to be removed they called us names and insulated us. The guys who runs the place has anger issues, he just snaps at you. Very upsetting experience. I haven’t experienced anything this bad. Update. The owner started harassing us over emails, it ended when we filed a complaint with the local police, cops made him stop the nonsense.
