This is a harm reduction program, meaning they give out free syringes, used needle disposal containers for drug injection, crack pipes, screens, mouth guards etc. I understand that a lot of people are against the whole idea of handing out free drug paraphernalia but the purpose of this program is to reduce the transmitting of HIV and hepatitis.
They are very discrete and don’t ask you for personal info.
The harm reduction program is a room inside of a community centre so when you walk in off the street, it just looks like you are going into a community centre. This adds to the discretion.
