Nice in concept, poor in execution. The stock is inconsistent and the staff aloof. The young lady who served me yesterday was more interested in texting than even asking if I needed a bag. Then she just threw everything in when I asked her for one. Hope they improve.

«Healthy Island» is located on Bastion St & Fleet St, at Harbour View Estates (Phase 1). It’s a food grocery store that carries everything (ie. eggs, milk, rice, juice, bread, crackers, chips, yogurt, ice cream, cleaning, beauty products). When I discovered this store, I was pleasantly surprised at how many products it carries. I live nearby, and really enjoy having it in the neighbourhood. Instead of walking all the way to Sobey’s (at Bremner/​Spadina), especially in cold winter weather, I’ve been buying my groceries here. Convenient location, and I get to support a local grocery store.
