Hollywood Coin Laundry

Hollywood Laundry is the reason why I don’t own a washer and dry. I simply love this place. This family won business is very well maintained, ad its old school flavor makes me want to have a photoshoot on every visit.

I like this laundromat because it is very clean (there are people there on a weekly basis to service machines and maintain cleanliness in a real way). There are big folding tables and lots of machines so there is never a wait or worry if someone has left their load in a machine for too long.

Yeah, I’m reviewing a coin laundry. As I write this strange review, my laundry is actually sitting in the machines at Hollywood, hopefully being thoroughly cleaned.
What is there to say about a coin laundry, really? Well this one is on Ossington, so I guess it’s kind of a trendy spot — there is generally a lot of plaid shirts being washed, but there’s also a lot of old Portuguese ladies washing their tablecloths, so it can go both ways. Apparently this coin laundry can be a place to pick up – someone asked me out on a date here once as I was folding my boyfriend’s boxers.
The machines aren’t amazing, but the dryers are pretty efficient — they dry stuff FAST. Besides that, being at a laundromat just makes you wish you had your own washing machines because those industrial machines abuse nice clothing so much.
