Howards Storage World

A great addition to the Beach neighbourhood! Before Howards opened the locals choices for organizational stuff, kitchen and small gadgets for the home was pretty much limited to Binz. While I continue to favor Binz over this new store, Howards has certainly brought a much needed competition to the neighbourhood and hopefully the outcome will be better products, better service and more competitive prices on both stores.
The store itself has a different feel to Binz, with its one big room and open space. With that said, I find that the layout is less user friendly in the sense that with things spread out it’s sometimes more difficult to get the staff’s attention or you might find missing small details (unless you come often and are familiar with the placement of different stuff).
The price is reasonable but it’s less competitive than Binz. I also find that the staff here is less friendly; not that they’re rude or anything like that, but less approachable and warm. Anyway, despite these small details it’s a a place worth checking out. Lots of really cool stuff for the house, that will make any OCD person like me) a very happy one!
