Huh

A Queen West gem along a strip that usually offers much of the same. So many great, well-​constructed pieces with a fabulous design component. They’re durable and on-​trend, but maintain a classic sophistication that will carry you through many seasons! Every time I wear a piece from this store, I know to expect a few compliments.
The price is competitive with a lot of the boutiques in the area, and you know you’re getting something relatively one-​of-​a-​kind… the designer also includes a complimentary alteration with all of her in-​season pieces.
I’m taller and curvier, so I often leave shops disappointed with the diversity of cut and fit, but I can always find something to look great on me here. Absolutely recommended for everyone!

I agree with Vanessa G. The window at Huh always caught my eye. They do a great display window, but when I went in and took a good luck at the clothes I was a little disappointed by the quality. The prices don’t reflect the product very well either. I have a few basic wardrobe pieces from this store, but that’s it.

Love this shop. It’s designer run so not only do you get to support local talent, but all the pieces abound in local flavor. Everything is fun, chic, and feminine.
Also the designer only makes three of each piece!!! So you know you’re getting an exceptionally unique item, not something you’ll see all over the city. Not to mention, all the jewelry they sell is by local designers.
Incredibly helpful staff and the owner is just a dream.

This is an excellent place to go for dresses that are sophisticated and unique. I’ve purchased 3 from there now, all on sale and I constantly get compliments on them — a few years later. It never fails, whenever I pop in there, I find at least 2 things I would love to own and for a small little boutique shop, that’s impressive, considering that their stock is smaller. Their prices can be a little steep but no different then most other shops in that category — similar to Want, Risqué, etc.

This is just one of many cute little boutiques tucked in along Queen Street West. I used to pass this store on my way to work everyday and marvel at that beautiful, colourful dresses hanging in the window. I’d always be excited when they changed the mannequins so I could see what kind of cute stuff they had inside.
Then one day on my way home from work I decided to stop in and check out the store. I wandered inside the small store with racks of dresses and shirts on either side of the store. I went to look at the dresses I had been drooling over for months just see that up close, they weren’t very nice.
They didn’t look very well made first of all. Most of the dresses seemed like one piece of fabric sewn together — no lining, no reinforced stitching. Most of them looked like they were made from some cotton blend, which bothered me because from the street they looked like good quality. I realized most of the clothing was of a same crappy quality so I quickly left and won’t be returning anytime soon.
I guess sometimes it’s better to window shop then to go inside and see what their stuff is really made of.
