International News Store

It’s actually pretty tough to find a convenience store along the bloor area on the streets. Especially since a lot of the shops in and around Bloor station close relatively early. This is a nice little shop, which seems to be owned by a nice couple and they are always friendly and welcoming.
Since there is no 7 – 11 nearby, I often come here to buy lotto tickets, snacks and the occasional Monster energy drink to stay awake. There isn’t really another close convenience store until you reach Yorkville and even that one closes a bit early sometimes.
I’m glad this place is around to compensate for the lack of small convenience stores nearby this area. Where else can you get a redbull and bag of ketchup chips at 8am in the morning on bloor/​church? I’ll be coming back!

This place just opened up in my work building. There was always a convenience store here but now it’s a franchise run by a nice Asian couple. It is very clean and slick and located right next to La Prep in the Unilever building on Church and Bloor.
Prices are normal convenience store prices, but it’s very convenient for me :-).
The best pro is that it is clean and has a nice selection of drinks.
Con is that it has no coffee — but you can get it from La Prep next door.
