Friendly and nice staff, great variety of healthy teasty smoothies and juices. And not too expansive at all. Just great!

*** 3−½ STARS *** Having enjoyed Jamba Juice in the U.S. for a long time, I just happened to come across this location in Liberty Village. This location wasn’t that busy when I was there, so I didn’t experience the typical loud chaos of blenders and staff shouting orders and running around like rabid squirrels. I think this location opened just recently and shares the space with a frozen yoghert business, so you have to go to the right counter to place your order. The staff seems to be learning the ropes there as they were slowly following the recipe while making my smoothie and I had to remind them about my free boost. My green tea matcha smoothie is just as good as the ones I enjoy south of the border. My only gripes is that they use styrofoam cups which not that enviro-friendly, but makes that very irratating sound/sensation when the straw rubs or scrapes against it – I am very sensitive to styrofoam, so it’s just like nails on a chalkboard to me. My other gripe, which seems to be always the case with most U.S. chains operating in Canada, is that the prices are higher than their U.S. counterpart. My regular size smoothie came to $ 7.29 after tax. Considering I forgot to eat lunch, this was pretty much my meal. It cost almost as much as a meal and has almost as much calories so the price didn’t annoy me too much this time.
