Bought a potato ricer that bent when I tried to use it. Went back the next day — they would only give me a store credit. Told me I was lucky to get a credit because normally they won’t accept something back that was used. In this day and age should have had a refund. Won’t shop here again.

This place is a joke. Walk in and look around. Then walk straight out, because there is just a bunch of useless«hand made» crap lying around that costs $ 60 a piece. Why not just pick up some sticks on your way home and call that a «decoration», because the craftsmanship here is SHIT. Oh and a bitch works the counter.

I wish there was an option for ZERO stars. I agree that this store has fun cooking and kitchen gadgets but they lost me as a customer today. My four year old accidentally broke a ceramic tchotchke and I was told the owner of the store would demand that it be paid for. I understand that as a policy, but the way in which the situation was handled was gut wrenching. My daughter was in tears and scared to death of what she had done and the sales person showed no sign of remorse. I get it. I’m paying 60 dollars for this broken decoration… perhaps you could exhibit an iota of customer service and speak to us a little more kindly. It is obvious my daughter is upset, she repeatedly said sorry, and she wasn’t even acknowledged positively or negatively, she was completely ignored by the sales person who couldn’t seem to ring up our mistake any quicker. If a customer was in my store crying and apologising I would probably be able to muster a few words for him or her, not to mention the fact that YES we are going to pay for this mistake. So infuriating and disappointing as this was one of my favourite stores. Zero stars.

Why didn’t I come here earlier? For people who are seriously LOVE to cook and you need that specialty gadget, look no further! For the past couple of months I had been looking for a Spatzle maker and the only place I found it was either online or downtown(which was not very convenient since I live uptown). I can’t believe William Sonoma doesn’t carry it. To my surprise, I found it at Junors! I came in today because I’m a fan of the Global knives and I needed to pick up a de-boning knife for my Culinary Art class. I’m slowly building up my collection. You’ll find Shun, Global, and other professional knives. There is also a large selection of quality cooking utensils, bakeware and glassware. OXO, Double headed Henkles, Cuisinart, other Swiss brands, etc. This is not the cheapest place in Toronto, but their prices are very competitive and often have specials. The staff in the store are very friendly too and offer great recommendations. I’ll definitely come back for more. I’ve got my heart set on the G-17 Global chef knife…
