Staff were hating on me hardcore. A number of them completely walked away from me or avoided my glance as if looks were infectious. And I saw them just throwing themselves at «ladies of a certain age». I felt really disgusted and disrespected as I always get great service at the Kate Spade in Yorkville and I actually came in here to buy gloves. When I finally flagged down a salesgirl, she just pointed in the general direction of the gloves. As opposed to the service they were providing to other clients where they would lead you to the product, give a description, and help you try the accessory on. So I’m rocking Banana Republic gloves now. Got ‘em on sale too.

I love the Kate Spade brand overall. I always have to drop in every time I’m at Yorkdale. Everything is so cute. What I love most is that their styles are timeless, catering to women of all ages and lifestyles. The service has always been very friendly whether or not I purchase that day. Make sure you sign up for their e-mails because I always get promotion offers and rarely have to pay full price :)

Everytime I step into the Yorkdale Kate Spade I have a hard time walking out without buying something! It’s easy to love the products, but the staff at this location are so friendly and helpful. I have shopped at this location a few times and recently visited to buy a gift for my Maid of Honour for my upcoming wedding. The ladies there greeted me immediately and never pressure me. They helped me find the item I was looking for and gift wrapped it for me. I felt that I was really taken care of. I can shop online for Kate Spade, but I go to this location because of the great service!

In the 1990s, my female New York friends would stop anything, dump any boyfriend, quit any job, simply to make it to a Kate Spade sample sale. Something about a Kate Spade handbag gave them hope — a hope they were not getting from their careers, boyfriends, friends, and family. It took a decade and a half for Toronto to catch up but here it is. Very small store loaded with all kinds of bags, clothes, and accessories. It’s the 90s Queen Street West look but with a price tag.

Kate Spade is a clothing store where you can find barbie doll-inspired clothes that are colourful and retro. I really like cute designs but some are a bit hard to digest. There are more accessories here than clothes. Like cell phone covers. Clothes selection is small. And the store is so tight it’s hard to walk around without risking knocking something over.
