Kimono Girl Women’s Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Self Defence

Sometimes I get little girl syndrome and want nothing more than to kick a little ass.
And whenever those moments hit, I turn to kimono girl, an organization that does a good job at making me feel like I’m Queen of the Whoop-​ass. The group specializes in jiu-​jitsu, which is particularly great for women, since its tactics aren’t reliant on strength or size. In short, it gives power to the little people! Yay!
Now, I’ve only been to one two-​hour trial session with this group, but they totally won my vote. I’ve taken some other martial arts sessions here and there, but this one made me comfortable and in control. The instructor and assistants were fantastic, genuine, not judgmental, and very encouraging people.
Plus, on a purely superficial, materialistic note, they have a lot of sponsors backing their cause, too, because we all left with some super cool schwag. Yes, sometimes bribery does work.)
If I had the interest in committing to a physical routine, this would be one of my top options.
