If you are an international student or worker, never ever try Kodoo!!! Before I was leaving Canada, I called the customer service and asked them to close my account and settle the balance. As I was leaving the country permanently I was also closing my bank account so after I left it wasn’t gonna be possible to pay any amount due, I specifically told this to customer service and they told me that the account was settled and closed successfully. A month later I am getting an email saying I owe Koodo 70CAD and asking for immediate payment. I tried to pay with my credit card in the U. S Koodo system rejected the payment. I tried to have a friend of me in Canada pay for me and the bank rejected payment. Meanwhile they are charging me interest on the outstanding due. They have no idea how to run a business and their customer service is incredibly useless. Don’t be fooled by their low rates just pay a bit more and get a decent service and coverage.

This store represents the obligatory presence every phone carrier has in this Mall(or within vicinity anyway). This spot is more of a kiosk going in line with the low cost approach this carrier portrays. It is well staffed(2 – 3 people every time I visit) though can still get busy. You have access to most of the phone Koodo sells and in addition and more importantly this is where one comes to get service/repairs done for one’s phone. I came in to get some repair done on my phone and everything was handled smoothly and I was even given a loaner while my phone was sent out for repairs. The staff is pleasant and helpful and take their time listening to your needs and suggesting a solution. In fact I am pretty sure all things beings equal I would rather bring my business here than go to a big store.
