Popped in here after parking on the street in front of the shop, and seeing a sign out front saying the sell made to order canollis! They have several options for fillings but we chose chocolate chip, Oreo and Nutella. Super delicious. My personal favourite was the Oreo but the chocolate chip was also delicious. They are around $ 1.79 each and worth it! I want to go back and try their waffles and gelato. Ooo the gelato looked amazing. The presentation and flavour options are very intriguing. Highly recommended! The only downside is that they are only open on weekends now.

This is a cute little spot with good, friendly service. I had a single scoop of the pistachio gelato which although generous was disappointing. It had a nice consistency but was flavourless. Maybe it was just the wrong flavour to order but I usually really enjoy pistachio gelato and I didn’t even finish the one scoop.

Two close friends of my sisters and I live a few blocks from ‘The Junction’ so we normally go around this area whenever we go on food runs(normally Domino’s though I would really love to try all of the other restaurants in the area). We stumbled upon this place on our way to No Frills when we were waiting for our pizza orders to be made. I dont quite remember what drew us in, because there’s atleast 2 other gelato/ice cream cafes on that strip, but it may have something to do with their cannolis(which we didnt end up getting) lol. It’s a lovely little shop with an adorable interior(which I’m sure hipsters(will) love). I dont usually have gelato so I am not quite sure how different and unique their flavours are compared to other shops, but the ones that I did have were excellent! I’m guessing they only usually do one flavour per cone/cup but it seems like they’ll be more than happy to give you another one, granted that the other is almost out, which is what happened with my order! I had salted caramel and mocchacino(the girl behind the counter offered it to me since she heard me debating between the two and it was almost done. Yeay!). Both flavours individually are quite good, but together? Oh my goodness gracious! The lightness of the SC and the dark creaminess of MC mixes and compliments each other so well. My friend got pistachio and one of my sisters got Nutella and both are also quite excellent! This place is a great little find, and I would love to go back and actually try their scrumptious looking cannolis. For just almost $ 4 a cone/cup(regular cone is free, waffle is additional), this is a great way to cool off during our summer months!

It started when I saw people coming into the Junction night market with ice cream cones and cups heaped with multicolored ice cream. The craving continued until an hour later when I finally got a double scoop pistachio and chocolate bowl of gelato. Best pistachio gelato I’ve ever had– actually nutty and full of flavour instead of tasting of sweetened milk as with many other gelato stops. The chocolate hit the spot. Only complaint is that there’s one person serving about a dozen people at any given time, which makes for long waits, especially if the people are trying 2 – 3 flavors before choosing their dessert. I’ll be making the trip up here again this summer, just for the gelato.

Great ice cream/gelato! I love it when a place just does it right. I prefer to pay a tad extra and get good quality stuff. Keep up good work. Friendly owners too.

Seriously not far off Italy! The gelato here is legit. Pretty sure it’s imported, or at least made from the same kind of ingredients. Every flavour tastes exactly like what it’s meant to, and super high quality. Even the Nutella tastes like the kind you get in Italy; not the chocolatey North American kind(which is also awesome, to be clear). Not the fastest service ever(but they’re really nice), and the layout makes things a bit difficult for them logistically, but a real find in the Junction. It’s also open later than the other ice cream type places in the area, so that’s helpful.

In getting to know the neighbourhood a little bit better… my sister and I found this spot on Groupon for some waffles and coffee. The gelato was a yummy delight to the waffles — Frutti di bosco in the Tutti Frutti. Even with the cold outside their chilli chai tea latte kept me warm and is also keeping me up all night. There’s free wifi here and for us Unilocalers who check-in a free coffee with purchase! They also accept Vicinity! Great addition to the Junction and can’t wait to go back.

Very nice little gelato shop! I had the Dulce de Fresa waffle — salted caramel gelato with fresh strawberries and caramel sauce. The gelato was delicious but the waffle was just average. Nothing special — kind of chewy. The strawberry gelato was also very good. Had the Nutella Latte to drink. Tasted like an ordinary latte — couldn’t taste any Nutella/hazelnut flavour. Service was excellent!

Christ on a bike this place was a find! Sunday brunch and a leisurely stroll in the junction is a petty decent way to spend an afternoon. Made even better with a stop at this fantastic place. Great selection of Gelato. Clean, friendly and good prices. What more can you ask for… out of this world Gelato… they have that too. Spot on!

This place is the bomb-diggity! Their Mojito flavour knocks my socks off. I’ve only had their dairy free gelato, which is to die for, but my husband tells me the dairy stuff is pretty good too. Their citrus flavours are best, love that classic limon! They also have vicinity rewards card happening, so free stuff once in a while if you’re a regular.

It pains me that I can’t give this place a 5! 1. The location and ambiance are sleek, sophisticated and reflect the on-going gentrification in the Junction 2. I had the best customer service. Really nice staff. You can tell that they really care about what they’re doing and put great pride in their gelato, and 3. They had inside seating where one could enjoy their gelato without feeling suffocated(like at Gelato Simply Italian, for example). Unfortunately, this is NOT my favorite gelato in Toronto. The pistachio flavor was really good, however, the stracciatella and the limone were not as impressionable as some other ones I have tried. I also redeemed a free coffee beverage with my Unilocal app and I was disappointed in the quality of my Americano. Other than that, great little spot that’s for sure to become a neighborhood favorite and I look forward to trying again!

I’ve had a gelato craving for weeks and finally decided to give in on a random Wednesday afternoon and stopped into La Vizziata which I had passed before. I had a great time chatting with one of the owners who was so sweet and helpful and let me try a few flavors. I got a delicious overflowing cup of pistachio and frutti di bosco and it was insanely yummy. Had a great experience and am so glad to have such a lovely place right in my neighborhood. Will definitely be back!

The best gelato place in Toronto! You can tell they make it themselves and that they use real, natural ingredients. I have had: mango, coconut, strawberry, chocolate, vanilla, hazelnut, and salted caramel. All were so yummy. Its also not too sweet which is nice. The prices are reasonable and the portions are generous too. Even at work I get those gelato cravings and I sneak out to grab some. Luckily they are a few doors down from me, yay! :). My co workers love it too and they are hooked as well. I remember when they first opened and I was so excited to try. Then again its always exciting because they are always coming out with new flavours. Sometimes its hard to decide because everything tastes great. I remember getting my card stamped a few times for free gelato. So awesome. Most importantly, the people who work here are very friendly and helpful. I have lost track of how many times I have been here. Everytime I come here, I am always satisfied. Not even a cold winter would stop me from having their delicious gelato. I would highly recommend this place. They are the best. If I could give higher than 5 stars I would. :).

This is a great gelato shop. They have a chocolate-orange, Oreo, and chocolate-coffee gelato that are all delicious. There are also about 20 other flavours I have not tried. There is limited seating inside, and the place is a bit sterile. They also do not take credit cards, which is not the worst thing in the world, but would be nice. Hopefully they can make a go of it here. I am glad that they have opened in The Junction.

My husband and I dropped by this new café in the Junction at around 5 on a Friday afternoon. No line ups and the staff member was so friendly; she let us try several flavours until we made our decision. My husband is a very picky eater and is traditionally an ice cream kind of guy. We explained this to the friendly woman behind the counter and she asked him what he likes in terms of ice cream and then made several suggestions. He fell in love with the banana and chocolate flavours and I went with the mango and nocciola(hazelnut). We made the mistake of ordering medium cups not realizing how much fit into that size. We’ll go with the small next time because there was so much gelato! We’ll be visiting this place again soon!

I love that this gelato shop opened up in my neighbourhood! The gelato is smooth and delicious. We’ve been back more than 10 times in the past 3 weeks already! The pistachio is amazing. Am also a big fan of pineapple, blood orange, watermelon and grapefruit — such refreshing and REAL tasting flavours. Nothing fake about this place. They had a stamp card at first(5 stamps and get a free MEDIUM gelato free), which was a great deal! However, to our dismay, we recently found out they discontinued their stamp cards for the summer. It would also be nice if they had some outdoor seating outside the store.

Amazing gelato, so creamy and rich. They had so many flavours it was hard to choose just one! I got a small sugar cone and the portion was a lot bigger than I was expecting. Will be back again soon to try the other flavours.
