The doc I saw here was fine but I wouldn’t return again — reception is super informal: they make you pay cash for every tiny service(and they can’t give you change so it has to be exactly right) AND they don’t even give you an official receipt so good luck ever getting reimbursed by your insurance.

I have come here a few times because it’s close to my house. But that’s about it. On a recent visit, I waited over an hour right at opening for a TB test. They only seem to ever have one doctor working there at a time, which means the waits are long. I’ve never been in and out in under 50 minutes, and I usually wait about 75 or 80. The doctor told me that because I am a student, the test is covered(as it is supposed to be, by OHIP) so I left — even after confirming with her that I could leave. The receptionist then called me 10 minutes later, informing me «you have to pay for this!» In a very agitated tone. I replied that the doctor told me I was fine to leave, she then cut me off and said«we have a clearly posted sign!». The thing that bothered me the most(more than the doctor not knowing what was going on in the first place) was that I would have to come back anyways to have the TB test«read». Why go through the trouble of it all when I have to come back regardless, and I can just pay then anyways? I would have paid had the doctor informed me of the proper procedure when I asked if I was okay to leave. Needless to say I’ll be looking for somewhere else next time.
