Last Gen

This place is the tiniest store I’ve ever been to but the owner manages to pack in a great deal of merchandise! «The little store on the second floor» as quoted by the website is completely accurate, it’s the size of a small bedroom. I was looking to buy an N64 console and controllers this past winter and did my research. Last Gen by far had the cheapest prices. I called to ask if he had an N64 console and the guy who runs the place was friendly and promised to hold the console for me. I went down there, chatted with him for a bit and he let me try out the console to make sure it was in good working order. He provides a 30 day guarantee, if the game or console were to crap out before 30 days he’d refund me. It’s been about 4 months and the console and game is still working fine! I was so happy to get my N64, it brings back lots of happy childhood memories.
I’ll be shopping here again as I’m still looking to pick up Smash Brothers and Mario Cart for N64 and I know the N64 game prices here are around $ 10 – 20 cheaper than most bigger game stores in T.O.

Last Gen is by far price wise the best place in Ontario, he doesn’t have any outrageous prices and everything is usually $ 10 less expensive then everywhere else. Though his selection is small it consists of great finds unlike the shovel ware found in most of the other stores in Toronto. The only minor complaint I have is that the store could be bigger, but in my opinion it is not enough to warrant a hit to the rating.
