They don’t have the biggest selection but it has the basic needs not to mention there are LCBOs in various locations within a 1 km radius here. This is very convenient if you are doing some shopping for a dinner or anything that would require some spirits or liquors for dinner. That’s considering you’ve shopped at the Longos downstairs. Considering its an LCB O location this store has an excellent beer selection and a margarita selection, not to mention they have a great vintage selection as well. If you live in the area or are just doing some shopping in this part of Toronto I recommend buying some great groceries from the Longos or buying some fresh seafood or pizza or whatever and then pare some fine vintage or wine or beer to go with that dinner!

I’m probably being a bit harsh on this location, but I can’t help it. They didn’t have Guinness. Sure, they had a selection of other beers, but not even a spot on the shelf for the Black Stuff. I noticed that trend throughout the store, actually: it seemed a good deal less selection than normal. Which might be forgivable given the size of the location, but I recall the Union Station LCBO being better stocked while also being smaller, and what’s the point of wide aisles if your favourites are nowhere to be found? Might be convenient if I lived in the building, but the one in the RBC building isn’t that far away and has a better selection in my experience.

The latest location of LCBO is right above the Longos. It is a smaller store but will give the residents and option to shop here last minute I guess. Selection for beer was surprisingly good or maybe its the Beer Festival that’s going on as I found some rare gems here. They have a small vintage section as well. So this brings the number of LCBO’s in the path to 4 I think. A good option for people who don’t want to venture out in the cold in the winter months to the flagship store on Cooper Street.
