Lily RMT

I honestly feel really bad when I write a negative review but I had to do this so other people don’t experience what I went through. I came to Lily’s RMT for a deep tissue massage to relieve my tight calve muscles. A younger lady performed my massage. When I left, my back, which wasn’t hurting when I arrived was now hurting. The tightness in my calves was not released and I was told the massage would be $ 50. When I went to pay she told me it was $ 60 with tax. I paid cash and they didn’t give me a receipt so they definitely were not paying tax on my service.
My back was still hurting a few days later so I went to my chiropractor and he told me my back was unaligned. My hip got pushed out of place. I asked him if this could have happened during the massage because I went in to release my tight calves and came out with back pain. He said, «Absolutely and since the pain started during your massage it makes sense».
I honestly feel bad writing this review but in addition to the $ 60 I paid for the massage, I then had to pay my chiropractor to fix the damage that occurred at the RMT’s (I really don’t think the younger lady was an RMT).
Perhaps Lily gives better massages but I will not go back. I would never put myself in someone’s hands who will put me in more pain. I should have gone to Elmwood since I paid well over $ 100 to create the back pain and then fix my problem after getting a massage there. Such a disappointment and a waste of money.
