Little Burgundy

First of all, I think one star is still too much for this store, especially their staff and delivery system. Being someone who doesn’t like being pursued when she comes into the store I was greeted with a nice hello and after explaining for about 5 times that i’d like to look on my own I was still not left alone. I know the point of that is to sell, I’ve worked in retail too, but it felt as practically harassment. Second, the service they offer of ordering pretty much any pair of shoes and it comes to your doorstep, it’s shit. The boots I received were 1. not the same size on both feet. 2. used up 3. one WHITE and one BLACK (lol, here they might have done it unpurpose otherwise theres no explanation for that much incompetence) 4. the box completely ripped up. Luckily their customer service (when you call) made up for it all. When I re-​ordered the pair, the girl who inputted the address wrote it in a weird way and so the UPS guy was confused for about 4 times and my order was delayed by 4 days and I had to update something new every single day (check the address on your receipt guys, that was my mistake). Otherwise, the quality of the shoes is the same as everywhere else.
Overall, experience = wack.

Really impressed with this store. Went in there on Saturday and picked up a pair of shoes. Staff were friendly, helpful and very engaged in the process. The following Tuesday, on my first outing with the shoes, I realized they were a bit too small. I went back to the store on Wednesday to trade up and again, great service — the return was hassle free and they offered to ship the shoes to my home. Lo and behold, shoes arrived the very next day! Wow, definitely impressed. I will be a repeat customer:)

Had a great experience in this store and ended up with 2 new pairs of shoes. The staff was attentive and friendly. The merchandise is a blend of stylish and fun, with a blend of well-​known brands (Converse) and some interesting styles that I had never seen before. When one of the styles I wanted wasn’t available in my size, the salesperson arranged to have a pair shipped to my house for free. It arrived just two days later! Very impressed with the level of customer service.

This store charged me twice for a pair of shoes. I had to go into the Eaton’s Center AGAIN to have this resolved. Then they didn’t even refund me. After doing an investigation they finally refunded me but after all that only offered a 15% discount to compensate. Not a pleasant experience to say the least!

Only have one pair of shoes from here… but boy are great. Floral print oxfords?
The staff were nice, even considering the fact I was looking for a pair of shoes [for something, don’t remember what] wandered in saw those babies, and poked around left, and spent the rest of the afternoon wandering around downtown, circling back around to look at those shoes, well they didn’t make me feel like I was totally insane pretty much stalking a pair of shoes.
Finally caved to try them on, and oh hilariously strange shoes to size since socks and shoe liners can really change the fit but the lady who assisted me was already familiar with the fits of sizes so I didn’t end up buying them to find out later like, «Oh can’t wear these with socks» or something.
Loses a star because yes, true they have some great options, and good sales [sucker for sales] I do a lot of «ewww never» when I see the options.

My boyfriend and I came here two days ago to get him a new pair of shoes. We walked up and down Queen street and decided this one had the best quality shoes/​prices.
The staff was really friendly and were joking around with us too.
One of the sales asociates has told us their air conditioning hadn’t been working for the past 5 days and doesnt know when it will be fixed!
The staff was still friendly and smiling even in extreme heat conditions!

Sometimes, I love stores, and I’m not even really sure why. I guess it’s probably because they have nice shoes. That would make sense. Or because they always have my size, or always make an attempt to find me my size, or whatever.
I love Little Burgundy. It used to be called Stoneridge, at first I didn’t like the new name, but it’s started to grow on me. And that little bird logo… cute. I love this store because they carry everything I like, which means they obviously have good buyers who choose nice shoes. This location in particular I like because the staff have always been SO nice — even when I came in a couple minutes before closing and wanted to grab a pair of sale shoes.
And about sales… they have GREAT sales. They put most of the stuff on sale at some point, and if you go early enough, you can grab some good stuff.
They’ve also got a great little accessories section in the back, with Betsey Johnson and Matt & Nat bags, as well as a Juicy Couture jewelry section that I don’t want to like because it’s Juicy Couture, but when you put a cupcake in necklace form, how can I resist?
If you want to grab a pair of shoes, and you want it to be painless, come here. I bought a pair of rainboots on a rainy day and I was in and out in less than 10 minutes, including the time it took to try them on.
