Super tiny and a cute coffee shop. I feel as if it’s always busy in there especially after 3 pm. Their hot cholocates and pastry is amazing. The only thing i don’t like about the place is the music! But the coffee makes it up for that.

Little Nicky’s is one of those places you can walk by a hundred times and never even notice it. I mean yes, they have a big painted sign on the brick wall outside, but it’s not exactly screaming«come try me!». Nestled off the main Queen St drag, the unassuming shop is a pretty cool spot to have a coffee and donut. It’s super cozy, and reminds me of the countless cafes I’ve strolled in Chicago. Espresso was standard, but the donuts are fantastic! They have their own old school donut fryer like something you’d see at the fair. Coming out fresh and pillowy-soft, they’re finished with a light dusting of sugar that adds just enough sweetness for me. Best part is, they’re not too heavy so you could probably finish the bag!

Not sure why so much hype about this place. Ordered a coffee from Ritual and I actually got there a few minutes late so I expect my order to be ready or near ready, but I was confused as I walked to the counter as pretentious staffs didn’t even bother to greet or acknowledge my presence. I figured they were still busy filling up other order so I went to use washroom. After I came back the order was still not there despite the app indicated it was ready 5 minutes ago, what made it worse was staffs continued to treat me as non-existent. Finally the girl making the donut was filling up my order and calling my name. Overall the experience was cold and not welcoming, I wouldn’t expect top notch customer service from a café place but even staffs at Timmy or Mac would greet the customers when they place order. Sure the coffee is ok and fresh, but so are many other places in the area. With so many other choices near my office, I know I definitely won’t visit here again.

Definitely want to come back here. I pretty much was in and out when I checked out the place, but my company and I enjoyed the freshly made donuts!!! Delicioso! They were soft and not too sweet. I wanna try them with coffee.

The doughnuts are heavenly. Made fresh from their very own doughnut machine, not only are the doughnuts great but reasonably priced too! Little Nicky’s is a great spot to grab a coffee and a treat before walking down Queen street. Little Nicky’s is more of a grab and go kind of coffee shop as there is limited seating.

Review is soley based on donuts, not the coffee… These donuts are amazing. Fresh straight outta the fryer and into your belly in less than 3 minutes. Warm, soft, fluffy, fresh donuts coated in icing sugar. How could you go wrong.

Delicious coffee. Donuts made to order. WHATMOREDOYOUNEED? Unilocal needs more, so here it is: Love the old school vibe of the place. My barista was super charming and personable. Got our order wrong, but made up for it with extra doughnuts. I was ok with this

Fantastic little coffee joint. Fresh made donuts and I like their house blend. Would recommend in the area over any chain coffee joints.

Although the address is Queen St W, the entrance is off of Peter St. If you’re coming from the east though, it is impossible to miss the GIANT sign pointing you towards the entrance. If you’re coming from the west, well… yeah, just remember that the entrance is on Peter. It’s a really cozy and rustic café serving up pretty great coffee and(!) made to order mini donuts! If you’re anything like me, it will make you ridiculously happy to see the little donuts tumble one by one out of the fryer into the large ceramic dish waiting at the end. After a quick toss in powdered sugar, the still-warm mini donuts are counted six at a time into paper bags(you can also buy a dozen) and handed to customers eagerly awaiting their sugar fix. This is definitely a must go the next time you’re in the neighbourhood.

I love Little Nicky’s. Their mini doughnuts are to die for and their coffee’s are just as good! Seeming how it’s right around the corner from my condo, I have to limit my intake of those delicious donuts otherwise I would be there everyday! They are that good. If your in the area, definitely check them out! My only complaint is they aren’t open longer during the week.

When donuts are baked fresh they just taste the best. A nice outer crunch and soft on the inside. A simple sprinkle of sugar and powdered sugar. Half dozen were eaten in a flash they were so good. I was tempted to get another half dozen to go they were so good. You won’t find freshness like this at Timmies.

We have a particular soft spot of small café’s and this is just it! I just had Americano there and I can safely say that it was the best Americano I have ever had, very thick and flavorful, my friend tried a drink named something red and he liked it as well. The environment is good, smell of wooden furniture adds to it, a very good coffee experience.

Absolutely love this little retro café! The main attraction here are the bite sized hot mini donuts. The donuts are made fresh right in front of you rolling out on a conveyor belt and then dusted with sugar. I’m generally not a big fan of donuts, but these are just the best! So fresh, slightly crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside without any grease factor. Half dozen donuts($ 2.75) and a dozen donuts($ 4.00) not bad! The coffee here is pretty decent. Their espresso is a must for me: strong, smooth and has a rich crema. For those who have any caffeine sensitivity, tread carefully with their espresso: it’s strong enough to energize a bull! For smoothie lovers, they have a really nice banana and blueberry smoothie. It can be made either with apple juice or milk. I tried their bottled green juice($ 8 large) and it tasted way too earthy for my liking. If you like to drink grass with hints of apple juice, go for it. The staff here is welcoming and efficient while working in what it seems to be… their pajamas? Seats are limited. Will be back to try their baked goods and sandwiches.

I don’t really like donuts; was never a big fan. That being said, this place has the BEST mini donuts I’ve ever had! I just can’t get enough! And their coffee is pretty amazing too, just wish they had a dark roast.

Instead of writing a review, I want to direct you to Jonathan S’s review: he’s hilarious and spot on with his doughnut descriptions. But this is Unilocal, and the whole SYSTEM of reviews will collapse if everyone did that! It would be anarchy. So I’m going to wax poetically about Little Nicky’s with the needs of the greater Unilocal population firmly in my mind. The doughnuts are spectacular, especially when fresh out of the fryer. I’m not even ashamed to say that I inhaled half a dozen today. By myself. Before lunch. Okay, maybe a little ashamed. But these mini doughnuts are fluffy and delicate. Delish with their brewed coffee. The café is like a time capsule almost: my favourite décor are the framed sheet music from the 40s and 50s. Seating is limited, but take your coffee and doughnuts and go enjoy the last of summer! Or, as the sign proclaims: be the office hero, bring back some mini doughnuts.

The hours are terrible — the little doughnuts are AMAZING. My only complaint is that I can’t get the doughnuts as often as I’d like. 12 for 4 bucks. Do it!

If you’ve ever been to the Canadian national Exhibition in Toronto, chances are you’ve inhaled a bag of freshly-fried, icing=sugared miniature donuts. If you’ve never been to the CNE(likely because you hate crowds, germs or carnies), chances are you’ve heard somebody yammer on about those damn donuts. Well, good news you sterile people! Little Nicky’s offers the joy of fresh hot mini donuts alongside strong-brewed expensive coffee drinks, in a civilized café environment. Walking along Queen Street, it’s easy to find Little Nicky’s-a huge sign beckons you to their side-street entrance. The shop itself is located up a few stairs; small and shabby chic. It’s a great place to sit, if you can grab one of the perpetually-occupied tables. If not, grab your latte and grab your(do)nuts and go. Is there anything better than coffee and donuts? Especially when the coffee is strong, and the milk properly frothed to creamy sweetness? I kinda think the best coffee drinks hit chocolate notes… Little Nicky’s pass the test. Especially when the donuts are hot and fresh; still crisp outside and airy inside-free of grease. Something the big chains have all but abandoned. Carnies can opt for cinnamon sugar, or indulge in a Tony-Montana moustache of powdered sugar(bonus points if, after sticking your face in the donut bag, you run manically down Queen Street yelling«SAYHELLOTOMYLITTLEFRIEND» or «I ALWAYSTELLTHETRUTH, EVENWHEN I LIE» or «LOOKATME, I’M THEMAYOROFTORONTO». I prefer my donuts naked, but I don’t begrudge you your preferences. Seriously. Donuts. Coffee. No Carnies. Go.

The prices here are very reasonable. A xl organic coffee(venti size) is 2.5. Taste is pretty good. They also do speciality coffees. I tried the wife’s latte. It was also decent… Not the best in downtown Toronto but pretty good. Donuts were tasty. Fresh and hot. Very reasonable at $ 4 for a dozen I’d be back(more for the donuts than the coffee). Think it’s cash only. There are a few tables although not sure if there’s wifi
