Long Branch GO Station

This stop is close to my home and people are nice.
There are heated shelters, three platforms and wifi.
This station has only the LAKESHORE WEST which runs at a frequency of everything 30 mins.
Note: the frequency is hourly on Sundays until 8:45pm.
The parking is very limited at this station. There are about ten spots for carpool which means you need to be there before 7am to get a spot.

This station is small and has one snack kiosk and two ticketing agents. There are also washrooms located here.
The good:
It’s only 15 minutes from Union
There are heated shelters during weather colder than –1
The kiosk members are helpful and nice
There is now wifi available
The bad
No parking for regular go riders after 5:30am from Monday to Friday
There is only one tiny exit located all the way at the west end which creates bottleneck traffic
It’s an extra 5 minute walk to get to the bus terminal area
Not wheelchair accessible. No elevators or ramps.
Overall this station would be great if you paid for $ 80.00 reserved parking each month. But best to be dropped off at this station.

You need to get here by 5:45AM to try and score a free parking spot as they are all slowly turning into «Reserved» spots! It’s was nice having the coffee lady but now see that she is gone & there are new vending machines. Not wheelchair accessible still. Renovation is required esp. With all the condos being built in the area. And more parking needed please!

The Long Branch GO station is probably one of the worst GO stations in existence. Not only is there minimal parking, the station is small, dirty and overall, unappealing.
When waiting on the station platform, there is no roof, and instead you need to enter one of the provided train shelters or risk getting rained or snowed on. The station also has a Gateway vendor on site, but they are not always there. So you’re out of luck if your hoping to buy a snack or drink before jumping aboard the train.
Lastly, the station is not wheelchair accessible. There are no elevators or escalators available and instead, everyone who boards the train here has to be able to walk up and down a set of stairs.
Overall, this station is awful and needs to be renovated.
