As two young professionals new to neighbourhood, we were looking forward to the convenience of having a dry cleaner close by. We gave this business more than enough chances– the proximity is no longer worth it. I’ll take the extra time to bring ALL of our dress shirts, suits and dresses elsewhere. Rather than type out the entirety of the(multiple) issues we have had(week-long delays, unkept pick-up times, and an aire of dismissiveness whenever dealing with me– never with my husband), I’ll let you decide where next to patronage for your dry cleaning needs.

Always great service and speedy turnaround. Never had any issues in the 5 or 6 times I have used this service. Would highly recommend.

When I went in to drop off the vintage dress(on a Thursday) I needed mended I thought it seemed like a nice enough place. The older man at the desk who I assume is the owner was very friendly. He marked the spots that needed repairing and told me it would have to be cleaned too — he explained that the tailor would only work on clean items. I thought this a bit odd but I’ve never had anything altered before so I thought perhaps this is standard procedure. I now assume that he was just trying to take me for more money. Before I even asked for it to be ready for a specific time he told me it would be ready for Saturday — and emphasized to me numerous times that it was important I was there before 3 as they were closed on Sunday. I assured him this was perfect as my birthday was on Sunday and that’s when I needed the dress for anyway. He wished me a happy birthday in advance, made some jokes about needing Sundays to rest and overall we had a pleasant interaction. I left happy and excited to have my fresh, mended dress for the TIFF screening I was to attend as part of my birthday celebrations. I went in today(saturday) at 2:30pm to pick up my dress an the man said«Oh, the vintage dress? That will be ready on Tuesday.» I reminded him that my birthday tomorrow and that I needed the dress. He claimed he must have«misunderstood» that I needed it for a specific day. I told him he was the one who told me it would be ready on Saturday. He went to double check and then informed me that not only was it not done, but it wasn’t even THERE. «The tailor hasn’t brought it back.» So, not only was my dress not finished, but I couldn’t even take it to try to get it altered elsewhere. What angers me most about the experience is that the man did not apologize or take any responsibility. When I asked if I was expected to pay full price for the service he simply made excuses, threw his hands up and walked away saying«next time, next time.» I assured him there would be no next time as I won’t be taking my business back there ever again.
