Friends and I visiting Toronto for the weekend, and went here on a Saturday night. One word: Amazing… I don’t think I’ve ever seen this many beautiful women congregated in one area before. Bartenders were prompt and bouncers were nice. Definitely coming back on our next visit.

Ranked as one of the city’s finest clubs. The door guys were pretty friendly to my surprise. Regular cover is $ 20, on event nights I seen it go all the way up to $ 80 — if cover is an issue just ask the door man before waiting in line. Bartenders tend to focus more on their cellphones and snapchat stories than making sure people get served. If you planning on ballin’ out with some friends spending rent money like you still living at your momma’s house — Masion Mercer is the place.

Worst club in the city. Bartenders and bouncers run it like their own private fiefdom — they chat up pretty girls while others wait, and wait and wait. The short blonde female bartender up top on the south side of the patio always affects such drama when you order, as though it causes her pain to make your drinks. And the bouncers are out of control. THEBOUNCERSAREOUTOFCONTROL. The run the entire sidewalk and believe they can tell anybody, standing in public, what to do. Upstairs beside the awkwardly placed ATM, they will let a pretty girl sit down to talk to them and check her phone, sitting right on the stairs up to the patio, complete blocking one lane of traffic. They ALL need to be fired, and new staff hired and properly trained on how to run a line-up and manage the bar FORTHEPATRONS, not for their own ease or dating convenience And lastly, a parting shot, the place itself is a dung box; dilapidated is a kind word for this hole in wall ‘crummy’ club.

This club is really busy with average music. The crowd is mostly 19 – 22 majority of them are on drugs and lots of redbull since they wont stop untill 4am. Rude and bad service due to the crazy chaos. Only good thing is the young sexy sloots lol

What you would expect from a club, trashy, noisy and full of douchebags, but there’s worse in Toronto. At least the numerous EDM DJs and events make up for the tinyness of the venue. Many events come with extended last call at 4am, so be sure to check them out! Cover price is a bit steep for some events. Make sure to check out the rooftop patio in the summer, with comfortable couches and smoke friendly zones for those who need them.

A typical club in price and location, smack in the club district. But ultra glamorous lighting, chic décor and usually packed on the weekend. Sober or drunk the place is an impressive visual stadium like disco. If you get bottle service you’ll obviously have fun and if you’re struggling to get a drink at the bar no shock there. Like I said its busy. Lots of crowded dancing. But if you are going to go to a club at least this one’s atmosphere is epic and flashy enough to make the night an experience. Closest thing to Vegas or Cancun I think we have in Toronto but don’t expect red carpet service without paying some dough.

MAISONISGROSS. SHADYOWNERS. Don’t fall victim to this place. Disgusting sess pool, no air circulation, no organized lines for bathrooms and exiting. Be prepared to practically suffocate. The bar itself is dirty and grimy. The washrooms are falling apart. No doors close, broken glass everywhere and we were there before most people. We rented a booth and it’s only about 4 seats and a dinky little table. There are no bouncers to control others from getting into our«private area» Bouncers are rude, door people are rude, bartenders are rude. The bar will not sell you the cheaper nestle bottled water only Fiji for a raping $ 7. I could go on and on. Our group of 15 were all appalled with this place and the service. I went to MM to see Tchami. Besides the DJ, it was not a good experience. I’ll just list them: — Even though the show was sold out, I seriously think the amount of people in there was illegal –Only two bars, in awful locations –The coat check is right by the entrance, so when the show is done, it’s near impossible to get out -$ 60 for four drinks? I understand $ 10/drink is normal but the rail vodka is shit I’m pretty sure if the club caught on fire, we’d all die with how many people there was in there. Not a good experience; definitely not returning.

Rude bouncers, incompetent ticket holders. You might think it’s obvious, but if you make the mistake of getting a booth here(in addition to even going here) make sure the person who books it gets all the tickets! Otherwise they will give out your tickets to everyone behind you in line then tell you there are no more tickets to offer. Worst place I’ve been to in Toronto so far.

Music is just okay. Outrageous cover charge at 1am with no lineup and half empty inside.($ 25 per person). DBags everywhere, overpriced cocktails filled with ice to the top… bartender wont accept crediy card for payment of drinks under $ 75.do I have to get a bottle or a line of shots everytime I try to get a drink at the bar… if i can rate zero stars i would. One of the worst clubbing experiences ever… never come here again. PERIOD.

Love this place went a few times in my mid twenties. Great music like unreal. Awesome DJ. I think when I went Steve Lawler was playing and second time Chris Lake. Great looking people loved the gogo dancers the whole ambiance and energy of the place reminded me of my party days in Miami. Probably the best club I have ever been to in Toronto(and Ive been to pretty much all of them). Also my friends know people so we got in free as usual no line up, no cover and free drinks. Haven’t been in a while unfortunately I would love to go back.

Having lived downtown Toronto for many years(most of my 20’s) I can admit that I know this city and it’s bars well. This past weekend, my girlfriends and I were celebrating a friend getting married and decided to take our party to Maison. Seeing as how I know the city well, I knew which promoter to call and get on the guestlist in advance. and made sure we were all at the club before 11.(It was the last night of tiff) What I didn’t know was that Maison exclusively hires douchebags on power trips as bouncers. Not only did they make us wait in line at 1030. but then didn’t honour the fact that we were on a guestlist! 6 of us arrived first, told them which list we were on and all was ok. Then the rest arrived and somehow 15 girls in line who knew each other was unacceptable. Not that it should matter, but I’m talking about a group of beautiful, spectacularly dressed women. I overheard the head douche tell the assistant douche to make an excuse and not let us in. For what reason I’m not sure. Perhaps because I didn’t slip him some bills. or my number when he gave me ‘the look’?? Whatever reason, I’m thankful the night turned out the way it did. Being connected girls from this city, we were easily able to move our party elsewhere and had a fabulous night. I am ashamed to have a club like this in my city. Never in my life have I been treated like this anywhere! Maison is a disgrace to Toronto. *Just for the record, the only reason we chose Maison is because of the cheese factor* **also note we were not a ‘Bachelorette party’ with veils etc**

I usually have a great time going to different clubs in toronto and if i can sum up the night here in a few words i would say«rejection city». Every girl in there is not only older but they’re 0 fun. If your a young single guy looking for some chicks stay away from this place. On another note, we payed 500 dollars for basically a bench in which they call a booth. I would not go back to this place EVER again if im in toronto

Having been a «regular» at this night club over the past year I am totally disappointed at the crowd control of this night club as of late. My friends and I enjoyed going to this night club generally once or twice a month on the Saturday night. We enjoyed the 4AM last call license at this club over the various summer festivities in Toronto. On average we spent a minimum of $ 1000 on every occasion and generally purchased bottle service(minimum of three) bottles per visit amongst my group of friends. In the last visit we were speaking to a waiter about purchasing a 4th bottle of over priced Hennessy(each bottle was roughly $ 290 with taxes and gratuity). Upon speaking to the waiter one of the patrons at the club approached my friend and told him he was the owner and we were in his«section». The waiter instead of calming the situation simply stepped back and allowed this patron to go off on my friend for accidentally being in his area. The fact that this individual claimed to be an «owner» of this club was more shocking. We avoided this individual as his«section» was right beside the bar and our booth was towards the centre of the club. To my surprise security approached myself and my friend and told us we had to leave as the patron had complained to them. It was shocking and upsetting as we have never had any such issue at this club until our last visit this past Saturday. We will simply take our money elsewhere as there are several establishments throughout the city which show their high paying patrons respect. We are a group of late 20 something professionals and the last thing we look for at a club is a problem and our night to be ruined. If this individual was in fact any sort of shareholder in the club the I would recommend a full boycott of this place as he showed a very aggressive and arrogant behaviour to his high paying regular patrons. Security was not willing to understand that all we were looking to do was spend another $ 300 at this place and amongst the 8 of our group of friends nobody was looking for any sort of altercation. Simply disgusted at the treatment on our last visit and I would recommend other establishments which have less crowded booth areas and a more mature crowd and respectful«owners».

Maison has started bringing some really great house DJs, I recently saw Dennis Ferrer and Guy Gerber there(on separate nights)… first impressions. the first time we went to see Ferrer, there was no line up(went early around 11:30) but as soon as we got in, we got in line for 20 min for coat check. I don’t understand how putting a coat on a hanger can take any longer than 30 seconds/person, it was ludicrous. The lighting inside was absolutely insane, it hurt your eyes on the dancefloor with glaring sporadic blue and pink lights shining non stop. Luckily the lights were decent on my second visit, for Gerber. The drinks are overpriced and the crowd is just really strange… you’ll see a lot of pretentious chics wearing fur coats inside(really dude? INSIDE?) and sleezy guys. You can tell that only about 25% of people are actually there for the music/DJs and the rest are there for show or to pick up women. Bartenders look like they hate their lives, can’t even muster a smile. The washrooms are filthy(why try to be upscale when you can’t even keep up cleanliness?) Bouncers and bus boys are decent except for this one brown tamil looking dude who literally pushed me out of his way even though he could have walked around me considering how much space there was. He was rude and I tried to keep an eye out for him so I could push him back but no such luck, if I go there again I will find him to make sure I return the favour. The«men»(more like frat boys) there are bizarre. I would say only about 10% of them are decent. I went there in sneakers both times, when I’m going out to dance, comfort is key. Needless to say, I wasn’t dressed to the nines, clearly uninterested in putting out vibes for guys but they kept approaching us — pushing drinks from their bottle service booth, sketchily staring or trying to talk to you. Sure, you want to approach a woman, no harm in that but when someone says no politely once, you really need to back off. I’ll have to wear a mumu or something hideous next time I go to discourage any freaks from talking to me, they are way too pushy and douchey!!! I wish footwork hadn’t closed at that location so we could have reputable DJs go to a venue without pretense. Not sure if I’ll go again, would have to be an amazing DJ to make me want to go.

Was here a few weeks ago and was a cool place. Has a Miami vibe with an upscale feel and loved the rooftop bar area. However, the music wasn’t loud enough to enjoy and was overtoned by everyone talking. I guess because of all the condos going up they had restrictions on the level of volume they could play. Spent most of the night on the rooftop. The guy bartender was really nice and alert to customers waiting and seemed he was also the service bartender for the waitresses. I wish they had more of a selection of alcohol since it looked a little bare behind the bar. There was another girl that wasn’t on top of it, maybe she was new? But overall experience was cool ! I would definitely go back again next time we are visiting friends. Headed downstairs for a few and the vibe was awesome. Loud, people having a good time and music was good too ! Doormen were dressed very well and provided that VIP service. Thanks for a good time Maison Mercer !

I came here to see one of my fave DJs(Steve Lawler). I had never been before, and will only go back if there’s a DJ I really want to see. I’ll start with the GOOD: –Separate line for ticket holders was amazing. I hate when a club is disorganized and ticket holders have to wait in a huge line with everyone else? What’s the point of pre-paying for tickets? –The crowd and dancing space get better after 3am. –I liked the size of the place. Now the BAD: –There weren’t enough bathrooms for the size of the club, and the girls bathrooms were atrocious. No sinks? –The crown prior to 3am was awful. Pretentious, douchy people who just want to be seen and are incredibly rude and pushy. –There are no speakers in the back area where bottle service is. At the end of the night, I was able to find a spot in this area to dance, but the sound sucked. –Coat check. Ridiculous. While it was nice that it was free(so I hear), it was so disorganized and the line-up was ridiculous, so I ended up just stashing my coat somewhere.

If you’re the type of person that wants to go out on a Saturday night to be seen, then this is the place for you. But it sure as hell isn’t the place for me. The club is packed full of puffy chested DB’s and women that are just looking to have their drinks paid for. The staff were great. Though I’m probably biased as my friend has connections and got us in for free with no line, no cover, and a few other benefits.

(2.5 stars) Came here with a large group on a Thursday night for a sort of after-party following a formal dinner. Someone knew one of the promoters, so we got in with reduced cover($ 10 instead of $ 15). I think we arrived around 11pm or so and the place was pretty empty, but then we went up to the patio and there were some people chillin’. The rooftop is pretty sweet, nice view, very spacious, and lots of seating(without having to buy bottles! +1 star). Random décor. Look for the horse statue in the corner… Drinks were very expensive, $ 14 for mixed drinks(!) and $ 8 for beer. After midnight or so, the main room inside filled up. Seemed like a pretty fun, mixed crowd although I wasn’t paying super-close attention because I just wanted to dance! Sure, there was some dude off in a corner dancing by himself that I’m pretty sure was high… but doesn’t every club have one of those guys? I didn’t feel like the crowd was«too drunk» on the night I went, although maybe I left too early to see that. Yes, there are go-go dancers. DJ was spinning mostly top 40/house-y mashups(i.e. Duck Sauce, Black Eyed Peas«The Time», J. Lo), which, you know, is FUN once in a while. Don’t lie.
