This is the greatest dog park. It is really well designed. Once your dog is done in the run area you can go for a walk down to the beach and enjoy the water. I wouldn’t say the beach is Bahamas quality by any means but just to have that sandy shore is a plus in itself. For bicyclers, joggers, or moms with strollers this park has a great path that leads through a forest and down the waterfront trail. Beautiful walk on a great day. The play area for the kids is well maintained and clean. Great place to have a family BBQ and just enjoy a day in the outdoors.

This is a beach/park on the border of Mississauga/Etobicoke. There is street parking and they also have their own parking lot. In terms of the beach — it was okay. I found there was too much debris(rocks, litter, some glass) on the sand and you can’t walk on the sand comfortably without sandals. Now, bear in mind, that I’m a bit of a spoiled brat because I usually only go to beaches in the Caribbean and California, but what I like about them is the smooth sand and lack of debris. What is good about this park though is that it is big and has a nice play area for kids(with large water fountains in the summer) and has a nice bike trail and pedestrian path. Verdict: If you live in the west end(Oakville, Mississauga, Etobicoke, Brampton) and looking for a quick beach/park getaway with free parking, this place is not bad.

I think Marie Curtis Park has the best dog park. It’s a great place to go for a walk or to take the time to stop and feed the the ducks. The beach is also nice to catch some sun
