Mark Andrew Hair Studio

I’ve tried many $ 100+ places, and Mark Andrew is better than many of these and much more reasonably-​priced! Mark is a sweet, easy-​going guy with great skills. I am both adventurous with my hair and anal, so it really means a lot to me to have found a great, local stylist. He is now my guy.

I recently discovered Mark’s hair studio after seeing a Facebook friend’s very positive review on Unilocal.I’m new to Toronto and was on the hunt for a good hairdresser, who could work with my thick, curly hair.
Mark gave me an awesome cut that brings out my curls! I also have to mention that the overall experience was great — I much prefer the intimate environment at Mark’s studio rather than sitting in one of many chairs at a busy, loud salon.
Will definitely be back :)

My wife noticed Mark’s hair studio when we used to live on Sullivan St in 2005. She insisted I stop getting crappy hair cuts and give myself a treat. I did not only end up finding someone who could give me an awesome hair style, I made a good friend.
Going to Mark’s is like being at a close friend’s place for a nice refreshing break from your day, with your friend pampering you with a nice haircut. I have never ever been disappointed. I look forward to the treats he sometimes bakes (especially during christmas). The whole setup is so relaxing and comfortable. You can take your kids there and have them enjoy while getting a cut.
We have since moved away from that area but I always make the trip to come here. As a progressively balding man in his late 30s I have been pleasantly surprised at how great Mark makes me look. Gives me tons of confidence. I would not go to any meeting or party or night out without getting a cut from him. My wife and I both look forward to our hair cuts. Any time we have not been able to make it to him due to being out of town, we have regretted it.
This is the only place you should go to for a haircut in toronto. Period.

Mark is amazing. His place is warm and inviting, vey cozy. He took care of my scraggly mane and gave me the best haircut I have probably ever had!

I’ve been going to Mark Andrew Hair Studio for several years now. His studio is a one stop shop and a cut, wash, blow out, etc. and conveniently located steps away from Queen West near Spadina with ample parking.
Not only have I had exceptional hair cuts every time I’ve visited Mark, I’ve also received exceptional service in a cozy, comfortable setting. Mark is a friendly and down-​to-​earth fashion forward stylist with excellent technical skills and knowledge of both modern and more conservative hair styles — depending on your mood. He is accessible for scheduling appointments via Facebook, which I find very convenient, and of course by phone as well.
My wife recently started going to Mark’s studio as well and is extremely happy with the results! I think she looks great!!!

I used to see Mark when I lived in Toronto. He gave me a great cut and my friends gave me lots of compliments. I appreciated that he was a good listener when I told him what I was looking for.

Mark is my favourite hair stylist. I started seeing him over 5 years ago when i was referred to him through a friend of a friend. Mark always knows exactly what I want for my hair and his cuts always garner compliments from people. I have since moved to Vancouver a few years ago but I often wait until i visit my hometown to get my hair cut by him. It grows out amazingly and lasts a very long time because of his expert cutting techniques learned at Tony & Guy. He’s super fun and sweet and since it is in his own home studio, he offers a good price for a very high quality, salon cut.

Also, it feels comfortable and relaxed and since it is located in the heart of downtown steps away from Queen st, w/​Spadina, it is a great excuse to go shopping!

I always look forward to going to Mark Andrew’s hair salon. He’s super easy to reach via email, txt, or even facebook — (which is super handy).
He’s also central to the Toronto downtown core (Queen St. West and Chinatown).
As all great hairdressers are, he cuts my hair meticulously. He’s a joy to hang out with during the styling.

I love getting my hair done here, Mark is the only one I trust. I even brought my mother from Niagara Falls to get her haircut here and she loves it too! If you want someone that is honest, fair priced, and who is flexible this is the place to go!

I’ve been going to Mark’s salon for years. The location is close to Chinatown and trendy Queen West. The salon is warm and inviting. The owner Mark, is always there to greet you with a smile. We always have a great chat and I leave the salon looking and feeling fabulous.

An undiscovered gem in the neighborhood, Mark has built up his client base by word of mouth alone and he’s always busy (that should tell you something right there).
