Matthew Genser Salon

Matthew Genser is a Very Unique and Excellent Hair Stylist!
I found out about his hair salon while reading a newspaper article about him dressing up as his favorite superhero character and going out on the streets to find clients to cut hair for and I found his technique to be quite Interesting and Unique!
Furthermore, Matthew has been cutting hair for the past 10 years and is quite educated in his field which includes providing you with education on how to really take care of your hair after you leave his salon in which I found to be quite helpful.
During my hair cutting experience with him, I asked him various questions such as how often I should I wash my hair and whether I really need to use conditioner or Not and in his own personal opinion, I found out that I really do Not need to be using hair conditioner at all and washing my hair once a week and no more than twice is more than sufficient to have long lasting, healthy hair.
Continuing On: Matthew also does Not really believe in using hair sprays, gels or mouses and probably that is a good idea in order to prevent losing any more hair because these such chemicals found in these products can definitely cause that.
I also learned during my visit that he has been involved in many hair shows and has quite an extensive background in working with models.
Before I forget, Matthew is a Lover of Snakes and has quite a collection and I did get the opportunity to pose with Zina who happens to be one of his largest snakes.
I also want to mention that when I told my mother about me going down to his salon for my haircut and as soon as I mentioned the snakes, she told me that she went to a hair salon back in August of 2014 to get her haircut and was introduced to snakes as well.
Coincidentally, it turns out that we both got our haircuts by the same famous man!
Isn’t that just simply amazing…
