The clothing in here looks cheap & they don’t even steam the wrinkles out of them before putting it on the racks. The sales people were really friendly though & seemed to have a system they use which worked well. I’d give them 4 stars for service but the clothes were just not that great.

Located inside the Yonge & Eglinton mall, this Mendocino is more of the outlet type. The store constantly has sales and always has a ton of unique and trendy clothing for girls. Although this place has a ton of sales, their merchandise is too pricey for what it is. You can find similar clothes at H&M or Zara. Also, a lot of the times I find items here that are ripped, have buttons missing, or strings hanging out of them. When I’m lucky I’ll find a nice party dress or blouse that’s intact and is reasonably priced. I like how they carry a lot of chiffon and lace material– so pretty! The store is organized well, the changing rooms are well lit and nice and the staff is friendly and efficient.

At first I was intrigued by this Mendocino store. It doesn’t seem like a typical Mendocino. They sell samples and the merchandise isn’t displayed in a very cohesive way. I was disturbed by the way the salesperson immediately straightened everything I touched. Other than shadowing me around the store like a shoplifter, I got no assistance.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but this seems to be a Mendocino outlet, of sorts. There are a lot of items on sale and it doesn’t give off the same vibe as other Mendocino stores. Which means that the sales associates aren’t bitchy and rude at this location. Oh, and less fancy décor. In fact, this one seems quite plain. There are a number of sales, lots of clothing to look at, and some unique finds. This store seems a little out of place at the Yonge and Eglinton centre, but that is alright, this centre needs more variety. I still feel like Mendocino’s clothing is overpriced just to give the illusion that it is of better quality. I haven’t gotten enough wear out of the clothing here to really say it is well-made.
