The absolute best children’s clothing store. Everything is very well made and the designs are not your typical ‘cutesy’ baby clothes you will find elsewhere. It is more expensive than other baby stores, but the quality, materials and the fact that you are supporting a local business is worth it. The clothes are great for passing down and will not fall apart like some other more ‘disposable’ baby wear. I love that they have lots of gender neutral clothing and basics in a neutral colour schemes. To note — the stuff here fits SUPERSMALL. My daughter is 8 months but wears 18 – 24 months here so have your little one try on items or size up when buying. The staff at this store are very approachable and friendly. The shop is small but they have lots of extra inventory in the back and are always willing to help you find other items and sizes. They are very friendly with babies, toddlers and dogs running around the store!(Much more so than other local children’s stores!!!) I was shopping with a friend whose baby needed an emergency diaper change. The staff offered to let her change her baby in their offices upstairs. Super accommodating! You can also shop online and have it delivered, or pick it up at their store for free. Their distillery district location is also great(and seems to carry a greater selection of stuff).

I like it, I like it. As an adult, finding solid basics in a myriad of colours is challenging. It seemed nearly impossible for a baby. No, I don’t want to see more pastel pink with ruffles. This person, as far as I know, has no plans to be a marshmallow peep. I was so excited when I came across Mini Mioche. It has all of the things I am looking for in organic cotton made right here in Toronto! Baby high fives and fist bumps all around. Yes, haters, this place is a little pricier, However, knowing it was made right here in TO makes me feel 100% OK about it. Plus, they have a rewards card, so you actually get some freebie basics once you buy enough… and from what I understand, these small people grow quite fast, so I’ll need to keep buying basics, thus an excellent loyalty program. Tip of the(very) tiny hat to Mini Mioche!

Waaay friendlier than staff than nearby Kol Kid. Awesome selection of shoes, and some pretty cool clothes, books and other small gift items and accessories. Occasionally find their stock to be low on the shoes we like. But the selection is so cool!

I expected sooo much goodness from Mini Mioche. I’ve been eager to go there for months since following them on Instagram, so while walking home I stopped by. It was a very uncomfortable experience. Everyone just stared at me and my son. The staff spoke to me in a way that made me feel like I should just go. I’m used to shopping at baby boutiques and at all other shops in Toronto, they are adoring of your child, accommodating and friendly. Except here. Anyway, their stock wasn’t exciting. I picked up the Fore Axel and Hudson fedora from them because that American brand doesn’t ship from their website. I’m quick to tell my mom friends to take their business to This Little Piggy or Balafant Boutik. We certainly won’t return, and hope they learn to treat ALL customers equally because this is Toronto and you are an independent store. So, where’s the love?

I love Mini Mioche. The Mini Mioche line of clothing is organic cotton all made in Canada. The styles are hip and the color very soft and neutral which we love. The store also carries some cool books and other lines like North face for clothes. For shoes we love the«Tip Toey Joey» brand, they also carry puma and others. There is a small play area for kids in the back of the store. You can also order clothes from their website. Their sizes tend to run small. I would’ve loved to give this store 5 stars but we have had some issues with their products. As expecting parents we were very excited as we awaited the arrival of our baby boy and bought some newborn onesies from Mini Mioche. We couldn’t really use them very much as the onesies are tight fitting and the necks are small. While this is fine(well not the necks) for older babies, it’s hard to shove a newborn into a tight onesie especially when the cord stub hasn’t fallen off yet. No baby likes their head put through a tiny opening either especially when their head is all floppy. I think that some changes need to take place at least in the 0 – 3 months category for onesies. Pants are also tight fitting and don’t accommodate cloth diapers. So we stick to buying only tops for our son for now until he’s out of diapers. Given that this store carries organic clothing I would think that they attract many cloth diaper users. Still a great store and fun to go in a browse even if you don’t buy anything.

I was on a mission to buy a bday gift for my favorite little girl and stumbled upon this store on Queen West. It has a great selection of cool clothes, hair clips, books, shoes and other little kid accessories that make it hard to choose just one thing to buy. The lady that helped me was great — super friendly and provided excellent customer service. This is a place to bookmark for little kid gifts.
