Modern Books and Records

This place is very tiny, but it’s a book lover’s wet dream. It’s covered, floor to ceiling, with shelves and shelves of books. Most of the books here are very up to date — lots of modern best sellers, lots of books from the NY best seller’s list, with only a few months delay. It’s also very well organized — they’re alphabetical by author, from what I can tell, and you’ll find all the books they have by the same author in neat clumps on the selves. Books are all in very good condition — you can nab yourself a basically new Chuck Palahniuk or Kurt Vonnegut for about $ 4.
This place is a joy to just browse through — and perfect for impulse buys, which is never a bad thing when it comes to books.
