I made a last minute appointment with Amanda for a wash and style. Not only was Amanda professional and friendly she was patient and took extra time with my long thick hair so I left with a style I loved. Also, this salon is bright, comfortable and has great hours.

I walked in and had Rochelle for a cut and she was fantastic. I have very curly tricky hair and she did a stellar job with a cute short cut. Extremely thorough, attentive and precise and lovely personality.

This salon is the best! I have serious trust issues with hair salons. Most hairdressers don’t know how to deal with my frizzy biracial hair and I’m so glad I found Amanda! I had gone to a few salons to get quotes about dying my hair for prom but I’m so glad I went here. Amanda is so polite and professional and I wish I could find a hair dresser half as good as her in Montréal but to no avail! Honestly such a good salon, I highly highly recommend their services! Xo

I came in without an appointment and Chris kindly squeezed me in. My old hairdresser closed down so I was apprehensive about going somewhere new, but Chris gave me a great cut and definitely pays attention to detail. I have found my new regular spot!

My schedule is nuts so I’m not often able to make appointments for things like hair cuts far in advance. Every time I stop in Modern Edge has done everything they could to accommodate my difficult schedule and I have always been able to be seen. Service is always friendly and helpful, and the salon has a really friendly vibe. You can tell people are happy to be there.
Fallon has cut my hair twice now and done an amazing job both times. There is nowhere else I would be willing to go right now.
Pricing is extremely reasonable and I am more than happy to recommend this place to my friends — the two who have stopped in loved it as much as I did.

I tried these guys out for the first time yesterday, and was really pleased. I got an appointment on very short notice, their prices were very reasonable, and Fallon did a great job of the cut. A great addition to the neighbourhood!

I got a hair cut from Tiffany today, she gave me probably one of the best haircuts I have had. Wash, cut and style, including bangs, and for long hair was the best bargain I have had. I was shocked when Tiffany rang me up, have never had more value for my money, she was nice professional gave me exactly what I wanted, overall an excellent experience!

I’ve had a couple of haircuts from Chris at Modern Edge and he is the best! I’ve never seen someone do a men’s haircut like this before. Up until now I thought that the best men’s haircut would be with scissors only, but He’s the master with clippers. Modern Edge also has very friendly service and a chilled out atmosphere. Great place to get a haircut!
