Montblanc

Great service. Staff are great here. The selection is a bit small at this store, but if you have something specific you’d like — they’ll bring it in for you.

My husband had seen a nice Montblanc wallet on his travels — so we popped into the Toronto/​Yorkville store to see if we could find the wallet. Although we didn’t find the one my husband was initially wanting — he did pick up a beautiful Montblanc wallet in black crocodile (or something like that) he uses it daily and it is an absolutely stunning and very functional wallet.

Husband in addition to his beautiful wallet picked up the new Montblanc pen that has both resin and Mother of Pearl Inlay — OMG it is stunning — unfortunately I can’t remember the name of this pen — but it came in the most stunning box, and desk set.
Sure we splashed quite a bit of $$$‘s in Montblanc — our salesperson was phenomenal, helpful, knowledgable — unfortunately I can’t remember her name but she was a lovely Eastern European lady. As we sipped on our complementary mineral water and espresso we browsed the beautiful pens. I also got the most stunning Montblanc pen holder for my Princess Grace Fountain pen and some beautiful ink colours.
My pen came with a fine nib — initially I wasn’t used to a fine nib and was going to exchange my nib for a medium nib — however, I am glad I kept it as I am learning to enjoy the manouverability of a fine nib.
When signing documents for business, banking etc. It never fails to capture a persons attention when I pull out my stunning Princess Grace Montblanc Fountain Pen ceremoniously from my Montblanc pen holder… it has a WOW factor.
If you are thinking you want a Montblanc pen but don’t know if you should splurge — I say jump in the pool, and make that splurge — in the business world people do notice the Montblanc sophistication and brand/​quality calibre it holds globally.

Went to this store Saturday morning to buy a pen and look at a watch Im interested in. The door was locked at. 11:30 am so I called their number. The person who answered told me they were open but the door was locked (!!!). I went to Birks who sold me the pen I wanted. Birks doesn’t carry MB watches so Not sure where to buy one.

I visited this location for the first time over the Canada Day long weekend, had a fantastic experience there! I was only going in to see what a watch I was buying from an Authorized Dealer in the US would look like on my wrist. They were very friendly and helpful. I subsequently went in once again mid-​July and once again at the beginning of August. The most recent time I went in 5 minutes before closing and they were very helpful and friendly not minding that I was holding up their closing process. I ended up purchasing a pen from them. As long as I’m in the area I will continue to bring my business there.

I’ve tried to shop at Montblanc Toronto several times but the selection is very limited and the sales staff while attentive, not very friendly. Recently I tried to replace a ring I received as a gift and lost. The store was quick to identify the style number of the ring but said they no long had stock and couldn’t help me, I asked them if they could check other locations with no avail.
Because the ring had a lot of sentimental value I decided to call the Hong Kong location that I was familiar with. Over the phone the clerk, Jane, and amazing representative knew the ring as well and again it was out of stock but she offered to check with head office in to see if any exist at any location world wide. She called me the next day from Hong Kong to inform me she found the ring in London and it was now in transit to her store where she would hold it for me until I return to Hong Kong in a few months. Not wanting to risk the ring getting sold or lost, I paid for it with my credit card over the phone and arranged for a friend to pick it up and send it by courier. The ring now sits on my finger never to be removed again :)… This is the type of service that builds loyalty.
The Montblanc store in Hong Kong is located in Pacific Mall. Jane has since been promoted and transferred to their flagship store on Kowloon Side on Canton Road. I’m not surprised of her promotion given the service she provided me. I will be forever be loyal to the Hong Kong location. Thanks Jane! I’m giving 2 stars to the Toronto location, the Hong Kong location would easily have 5 stars.

The only Montblanc boutique in Canada (with very friendly staff)!!!

Montblanc is easily the Holy Grail for luxury writing equipment. Don’t believe me when I say my vision isn’t clouded by the effervescent Eva Green as their spokesmodel.
Pens range from ballpoint to fountain, some with diamonds cut a la etoile (star-​shaped) at the top of the pen (in the thousands), some without (in the hundreds). I think it’s fair to say that once you go with Montblanc, it’s pretty hard to go back.
Though, refills are hard to track, this location is great for authentic ones. They will also engrave your Montblanc at this location. Aside from the Yorkville hours, this is a great shop to buy gifts and they house everything from Perfume to Jewellery as well.
