Went here for the second time last weekend. Small place, but great beers and cool crowd.
What really makes this place 5 stars is the bartender who refilled my ¾ empty beer (for free!) after my friend accidentally knocked it over. What other place does that?
Oh, and be sure to check out the weird «cage room» in the basement by the washrooms.

Last Saturday night we were at Mr. Pong’s bar for a couple beers and egg rolls. I really liked the décor, the location (close to home is always good), the cheap beers, and the friendly staff.
The highlight though was definitely Chef Robbie’s awesome egg rolls. We decided to split orders of the «Beef Cheek with Adobo» and the «Poutine» egg rolls. They also have a pork & shrimp, vegetarian, and even a dessert option. They all cost $ 6.00 per order and I can definitely recommend the ones that we tried. I will go back here for sure!

What’s not to love about the new addition to the Dundas west area. From the folks that brought you Cold Tea, Mr. Pong’s bar has everything that makes Cold Tea such a great spot in Kensington Market. Intimate, warm, with a great atmosphere.
I am almost reluctant to write this review as I’d like to keep it as unknown as possible but I realize with a place as great as Mr. Pong’s its only a matter of time before the whole city is talking about it.
Go check it out and enjoy.
