I just popped into Neveren’s with an urgent, help-me-now problem. I bought a wallet for my boyfriend on sale from a popular leather store in Toronto, and didn’t notice until I got home that one of the snap closures was broken. The store wouldn’t repair or refund the wallet for me, on account of it being on sale. I went to Neveren’s to see if they could help me, and the gentleman there fixed it right then and there, and for free. He saved my butt! I’ll definitely be back again.

I had one review removed, so here is a toned down one. Nasty customer service, very, very, extremely rude and accusatory. There are much better places in this same area to chose from that have good service. The guy at the counter accused me of taking back my own zipper tab and asking for another one, I couldn’t believe it. He said«that’s what you do»! Who the«you» in that’s what«you do» is, he was talking about, I can only guess he meant the customers, you know those people who he makes his living off… I would rather make my own buttons by hand with a chisel than ever set foot in this place again.

I was appalled by my last transaction with this place. After returning to this store to point out a pricing error, I was, more or less, told«too bad – its still a good deal, even with the wrong price.» If her prefers to lose a regular customer(who buys in large volumes) rather than refund $ 10 he overcharged, then I cannot recommend this as a place to do business.

So happy to find this place! Embroidery floss and Aida cloth downtown! The business owners seemed great — not there to chat and be my friend, but I knew what I went in for and they helped me find it quickly. I was in and out in less than 5 minutes. Only down side is the store is very small and FULL of stuff. I’m just not a fan of crowded places. But I plan to frequent this shop a lot now that I know about it!

I came in here to get buttons and boy-oh-boy do these guys have buttons. They have walls of buttons. It made me wonder why I bother saving all the little buttons that come with coats/pants/blouses when I could’ve carelessly thrown them out and then come here to search for the perfect button. It could be a button adventure! They also have a wall of thread, and a wall of zippers. What’s on the remaining wall you ask? Everything else. I picked up a packet of snap buttons and some professional stain removal chemical. Not very eco-friendly, but when your blue dress bleeds into your husband’s brand-new Brooks Brother shirt, well, ya gotta do what ya gotta do.
