No Frills has gotten a lot better over the past few month. I am well pleased. It reminds me of what I am used to in terms of what No Frills traditionally offers and prices.

Strolled into this location on a Friday night to buy some eggs. Couldn’t help but walk in to be greeted by unstocked shelves of produce. The produce on the shelves that were stocked were either bruised or rotting away. As I head over to the fridge section to buy eggs I’m greeted by poor mannered savages rushing me to grab my eggs. Eggs were priced cheaper than loblaws. As I wait in line to pay for my 6 eggs I couldn’t help but notice the hold up. Why the hold up? People trying to return groceries they bought an hour ago. Absolutely pathetic. Will not be going back to such a depressing atmosphere. I will be paying the extra 25 cents at loblaws to avoid this environment.

Located less than a block from my condominium, this is my «go-to» grocer. While lacking a butcher counter or fresh bakery, this store offers highly competitive prices. I have found fresh produce to be quite good, although the selection of organic items is extremely limited. The store is quite new and kept quite clean, and is very bright. A pretty standard layout with most things located quite easily. Not too big to get in and out for a quick trip to grab milk and eggs. If you arrive later in the day(especially on weekends) some popular items may be out of stock, or only a dismal selection may be left. Once they did not have mushrooms, and there was literally a single carton of eggs. When ringing up your order, be aware that only debit cards and MasterCard are accepted for some reason. This grocery store has done a great job to revive the strip mall where it is located — it went from being rather sketchy to a bustling mini-mall on the upswing. A solid 4 stars.

No Frills offers a no thrills grocery shopping experience. They keep prices low by sticking to the basics(no deli counter, meals to go prep, pharmacy etc). The store is clean and spacious with friendly staff. The store was just opened so hopefully the standards don’t fall as it goes along. Highly recommend.

This No Frills is okay. It’s a newer one, so it’s fairly clean. The overall variety and selection is better than Longo’s a few blocks down and is cheaper. However, I find the freshness and volume of actual fruits isn’t the best. It could be that they are sold out but each time I go there after/during lunch, I find that the fruits are starting to go brown or too ripe. That being said, I’d rather go here than Longo’s because of the cheaper prices. In conclusion, just another No Frills, but nice to have one in the a more«expensive» part of Toronto.

Opened just a while ago near where I work. Loving it since it’s soooo close and I can totally just drop by when I need my snacks! *Yes I admit I’m like a little piggy according to my friend, always wanting to eat ^_^* My stomach just gets hungry really fast! Anyhow, this No Frills at Greenwin Square replaced the previous Salvation Army or Thrift store(forgot which). It is now bright and big, full of everything yay! Their stock is pretty good too. They have a lot of everyday things you pretty much need. I love supermarkets in general — they make me feel very happy. Today blueberries were on sale at $ 5 for 4 packs. Totally looted(bought!). The employees there were quite friendly too. When I was at the cashier, the customer before me was charged her bill but forgot to mention she wanted a plastic bag, the cashier brushed it off and said it was fine. Way to go No Frills! Note: the cashier I was at didn’t take Visa, so I paid with Mastercard.

This is a great addition to the area, they have a fairly large selection of groceries, produce and various household products you may need when you’re in a pinch. The fruit and vegetable selection is decent, but they are often sold out of certain produce simply due to demand. The meat selection is limited, but they do have a tiny bit of sea food. Most of the sea food selection is frozen and note there is no butcher, sea food or deli dedicated areas. The prices are basically the same as any other No Frils, but I find their fruits and vegetables to be a bit higher than others for some reason. Also to note they don’t take most major credit cards, which is beyond my comprehension. I have no idea why a big chain would do this, but they might have some deal with PC cards exclusively. Overall a good place to grab groceries on the run.

Newly opened, but their opening was delayed for a week because they weren’t up to fire code. They fixed that quicker than you could spit, impressive! The inside is clean, pleasant, brightly lit. Like another Unilocaler said, it’s brought new life to this little mall. The cashiers are friendly, and I’m continually surprised they don’t take credit card! Maybe that will change in the future… But for now, it docks a star. Great addition to Greenwin!

Was in the area and was happy to spot a NoFrills in a mall. This no frills is huge. The layout is a but tricky but I’m sure with some getting used to it can turn to a breeze. Everything was on sale as per usual. My only grief was the state of the eggs and how many workers I spotted chatting with each other instead of helping confused customers. Mind you it was close to closing so let us forgive and forget that point. I RECOMMEND– checking your eggs. Twice EXTRATIP– doesn’t hurt to compare some prices with pharma plus right outside. For toiletries and such. Found TP far better priced at pharma so glad I checked.

Thank goodness this No Frills just opened in Greenwin Square because this shiny new store gave new life to the sad, decrepit old mall. This store is deceptively small looking — once you venture into the place it’s actually quite large, with a very fresh selection of produce and all your Sriracha needs. Because the location is new, it doesn’t smell like your typical No Frills(that weird musty but overripe smell). The staff have also not yet had the chance to become jaded and angry so the service has been excellent. The only thing that’s missing from this place is a ready-to-eat section, like the Longo’s down Bloor. Especially since winter is coming(oops sorry George R. R. Martin), the office building folks nearby could really appreciate some noms. Go check it out! If not for the food, then there’s a sign that says MEAT won’t be BEAT(har har immaturity).
