I love this place. Super fresh fish at amazing prices, and they will clean and prepare the fish anyway you like it (fillets, butterflied, gutted whole). Small vegetable selection and pretty impressive array of Portuguese cheeses and cured meats. Dry groceries and frozen seafood too. We’re very lucky to live close by.

Very good selection of fresh fish and Portuguese groceries at reasonable prices. Large variety of frozen fish and seafood as well. Nicely kept. Mostly self-​service, but the staff seem knowledgeable.

wide variety of fresh fish and other portuguese staples like salted cod, olive oil, etc. this is a typical fish market so expect to see the whole experience ie the smell, the pick your own and the scaling in front of you. if you’ve only purchased your fish frozen and plastic wrapped from your local grocery store this may not be the place for you, but if you want to experience true fishmongers and eat fresh then give it a try.
