How very disappointing! I think I was the first to write a review, which was great; I tipped very well and also had difficulty booking for the other voucher I bought. Their voicemail was still up as of last week but couldn’t get a live voice so I thought I’d try again today. I agree with the other writer, what will happen to our voucher? I get the impression they walk away with our money for the service we never got. I’ll try to get in touch with GroupClick but not certain there is much they can do. A lesson to us all; not to get too excited with our vouchers by storing them for future use; buy what you can use right away and/or only buy from stable businesses…

Bought 2 dealfind vouchers for this spa and after reading the reviews and checking out their website I was pretty excited to try this place out. Too bad they SHUTDOWN! Boo-urns.

I had an appointment booked for feb. 24th. Called dealfind and they said it’s out of business. People should learn how to run a business before starting one.

The massive door that leads into this enclave of esthetics is a reassuring reminder that you are about to leave your stress and worries behind you! In spite of the fortress-like exterior, Ostara manages to convey a tone of fresh, hip, fun beauty without being intimidating. It’s quite evident that every employee here is committed to making the spa a success — staff are friendly and attentive. The décor is simple without being clinical, and everything is immaculately clean(which is how a spa should be). I noticed that towels in the bathroom were replaced within the duration of my visit, and mani/pedi stations were cleaned up immediately after use. Leda D, my esthetician, was very down to earth and obviously takes her job seriously, which undoubtedly benefits her clients. I certainly felt I was in good hands! Normally I zone out and doze during a massage, but I enjoyed chatting with Leda to learn more about her expertise with beauty treatments, as well as her description of the services and products Ostara offers. I was impressed by many of her comments and remarks regarding skincare; it’s evident that she speaks from experience rather than product marketing jargon. I was offered sparkling(and delicious!) lemon water to drink, but I guess they ran out of the brownies and fruit mentioned in the other reviews I’ve read. My appointment was at the end of the day and the staff were making preparations for a final cleaning before closing. The one confusing aspect of the spa is the website, which is usually the deciding factor that makes me want to try a new place. The price list is not readily available and it would be nice to read descriptions of the different services offered. Basic information like spa hours is missing, and the«Live Chat» contact was unable to give me that information, which seemed strange. I purchased the massage + mani/pedi deal through Group Click, so I was curious to read more about their other services.

Wow, this is a beautiful spa! I came here with a friend to enjoy birthday pedicures. We were in for spending some extra bucks to get the full treatment, and it was SOWORTHIT! They were finishing up with a client so we had to wait a few extra minutes for our treatment, which the receptionist and estheticians apologized PROFUSELY about. We were treated to ice water spiked with watermelon while we waited. The wait was less than 5 minutes, which was no big deal at all! The space is gorgeous, in a converted factory-type space. Lots of white, wood floors, and accents of purple. The treatment rooms were lovely, and the mani-pedi area was sparkling. Lots of great light fixtures, comfy pillows etc. It was also very CLEAN. We saw them clean everything top to bottom after our treatments. We signed up for the delux pedi at $ 55 bucks. Because it was our first time, it was %25 off! Fantastic! We were treated to expert cuticle work, and an amazing buff and scrub. It is probably the best foot exfoliation I’ve ever had. We opted for the mask upgrade, which was wonderful. Their polishes are all by Butter and Jelly. I’m not sure if its because my friend is pregnant and is constantly hungry and thirsty, but they also brought out sparkling lemon water, and a tray of fruit and brownies for us to enjoy during our treatment! How amazing is that?! We thought the employees of this place were fantastic, so friendly, and really went the extra mile to make this a great experience for us. I was sad to have missed the special they had on GroupClick, which was a crazy deal. In any case, we will definitely be back for more!!!
