I was pleased to see that Papa Johns has finally made it north of the boarder. While staying in Toronto recently there was a Papa Johns location just around the corner. Ordered a pizza pie around 10:30 on a Sunday night and it was delivered lightning quick. The pizza was great and the service was on point. I’d recommend.

Solid pizza for a reasonable price. HATE the neighborhood though, I feel like I’m gonna get shanked after dark around there.

Seems to be going downhill somewhat. I’ve been here several times, last night I decided to order delivery. High turnover in staff too. I placed my order online(already had a profile filled out and registered from an earlier delivery). Pizza was a little late; Driver called ahead told me he was downstairs and would wait for me to come to the front door. This is despite the entry code being on the order. I told him to come on up — he responded with«Sir, we don’t enter these premises». Apparently it’s too dangerous for them. I responded, well you charged me for delivery at time of placing order and at that time I wasn’t told that you couldn’t deliver to this address. By the time I walk down to my front door, I’ve walked ¾ of the distance to their closest store — so I might as well have done a pickup. When I got downstairs, driver was no where to be seen. Apparently he hadn’t been there, but was parked across the busy street. As far as I’m concerned, they can refuse to deliver to any address. However, they must inform people at time of placing the order and with automated systems in use today, it’s relatively easy to blacklist an address. The driver was mouthy and belligerent about this, despite me calmly explaining why his actions weren’t appropriate. Needless to say he didn’t get a tip and I’m usually good at that. So, if I order again from this franchise, it will be for pickup.

One of the best food options in the area, but the new staff is a bit incompetent… No issues when they first opened up but recently they seem to have some less than stellar hires working the cash. When I have to slowly explain what is on a Hawaiian pizza and repeat everything again, it’s more than a bit frustrating. And don’t even try asking for toppings on one half… Getting home to find the veggie side is covered in bacon and pep is the worst.

Pizza is pretty good, I’d say almost as good as pizza hut(even though Pizza hut is greasy as f, they still the best out there in terms of franchise) Papa John’s was a bit more on the saucy side, personally too much sauce for my liking, I would have rathered more cheese, but still better than most. They serve with a garlic sauce which is really ODD rather than tasy, practically just melted butter in a container. Overall pizza is good lol.

I’m so glad that a downtown Toronto location finally opened! This chain was always my favorite living in other parts of Canada and the U.S. The overall flavor, including their famous crust(a favorite amongst all bread lovers, due to their distinct fresh baked bread-like flavor and texture) and cheese is unlike any other chain’s. A must try for any Ontarions who want more pizza options in town. Order online — tons of great deals. I ordered delivery and my pizzas came quickly and with great service.

Pizza was ok. A little too doughy and it was pretty greasy. The wings were overpriced and undersized. Their large pizza has only 8 slices. So very odd. Good thing I live walking distance away. I won’t be back.
