While at a wedding show a couple of years ago, we happened upon some fabulous wedding photos at a booth — they were so striking, and so beautiful, we had to stop and study them. The colours were amazing and the shots were crisp and editorial looking. We had a conversation with Rohan — who was funny, charming and engaging — and took his card. When it came time to book for our wedding, we went through the portfolios of other photographers we had met, but none were as memorable or unique as Rohan’s. On our wedding day, Rohan spent some time at our home with my fiancé and his best man, and then made his way to my parents’ house to shoot my family and I. His relaxed attitude, sense of humour and ability were immediately apparent. I never felt that I was being«posed» or that the shots weren’t «me». Furthermore, Rohan felt more an old friend than someone I had hired to do my wedding photos, which helped keep everyone relaxed. At the ceremony and reception, Rohan snapped candids and posed shots, but all were done without feeling like there was any intrusion into the events. He blended in with our friends and family so well, it was never a chore to stop and hold a moment so that he could capture them in his own unique way. We had very little time between our ceremony and reception — but Rohan’s professionalism and knowledge took over. In the half hour we had, Rohan took us to a wonderful offsite location for wedding party photos that look incredible. We have since received our photos, and they are equally as stunning as those we saw at the wedding show. They are thoughtful, professional and beautiful, and captured the spirit of our wedding day. I would not hesitate to recommend Rohan to anyone! In a world of cookie cutter, gazing off into your future photographers, Rohan is a breath of fresh air.
