Great place! We’re regulars and tried almost everything on the menu! I like how they make there own beer and wine as well. Pipers red is my fav beer!

Great bar and amazing burgers. Generous portion sizes and friendly staff. My new local!

I only went here once — for dinner, and will definitely never be back. There were a total 6 other people there, and we were six people. We ordered normal menu items with no substitutions or anything fancy and we waited 1 hour 15 minutes for our Food to come out. When in did the fish and chips were incredibly bland and the fries had that freezer burn taste to them. The waiter was nice but aloof to how ridiculous the wait was and didn’t apologize or offer any explanation.

The service I got here was exceptional, especially from the bartender. We all had a good time and they went the extra mile to make our experience a memorable one. Thank you!

Came here after the big Blue Jays ALDS win. Had the $ 5 beer tall can special and a shot of Jameson’s. Decent spot with friendly service

That is it, whenever I have the munchies monster in me craving for fries, calamari, or comfort food I’ll go to this pub. The food was perfect, the service excellent, and we got a 15% off for checking in for the first time (thanks Unilocal)!!!
The place has an awesome deal of 5 $ for a pint of beer from 4 — 6 pm.
The menu had plenty of flirty items and they also cook daily specials. I didn’t have enough space in my stomach for that burger they show in the menu, but it’s going to be rounding in my head when I have one of those «I’ll eat everything» kind of fat days.
We ordered calamari and you should try them. It’s the tastiest calamari I’ve ever had. They were super crunchy, zero greasy, with a special seasoning containing herbs that hypnotized my palate. I could eat them on the movies, watching tv, working out… Wow! The seafood sauce made with horse radish/​kind of wasabi taste was the perfect complement.
They changed without problems the fries of the fish and chips for lattice cut and they offered gravy: yes please!
The fish&chips (Scottish style) came with peas, coleslaw salad, a slice of bread, gravy and those delicious lattice fries: mmmm!!!

I love this pub. The food is so yummy and they make most items onsite. Try their curry sauce with the crisscross fries. The salads are delist. They do great fig and chips s well. And the buyers are really nice. I’ve had large groups here for birthday and I was treated very well. The owner makes sure that customers feel welcomed. I highly recommend

This place rocks. Half price wings on Tuesday. Quisadilla and club sandwich with home cut fries… yum. Server was attentive and lived the atmosphere.

This place is awesome. They have their own beers on tap, which we loved. We tried the Lager and the Red, and both were great. Atmosphere is fun and laid back!
Four stars only because our food wasn’t amazing. I ordered a burger, and my boyfriend ordered wings, and they were okay, but nothing to rave about.

Everything here is home made except for the kids cross cut fries. I love the food here, especially the lamb shepherds pie and curry fries

Burn’s Night: great entertainment. Friendly staff. VERY small portions of food, but the haggis was tasty. Fun karaōke. I’m pretty positive the liquor was either watered down or short measured. Next time, I’d order the liquor, the ice and the mixer in 3 separate glasses so I don’t get slammed! Im Scottish after all and like to get my money’s worth of booze!

This place was a surprise… the food was really AWESOME
You could tell that all is homemade… Dips, sauces, fries and it tasted fantastic. We had the wings, buffalo chicken fingers with different dips and sauces… mmmm, really delicious. Just be careful with the Hot wings… Really hot (and delish).
By the way the Piper beer on tap was very smooth… Try the Lager

I really liked this place. The beers were nice and cold while the food is steaming and fragrant. I lived the lattice fries and burger. The pub itself is nice looking in the heart if st Clair west. There’s a little patio out front that often is full in the summer.

I really like this place. We’ve been a handful of times now and I’ve always had a good time. It’s friendly, with good food and beer.
Last night our order was quite delayed because of a tripped breaker. After we finished our delicious (if delayed) supper, the server brought us some dessert on the house. It was a small gesture but it meant a lot. Will definitely keep visiting.

Excellent little pub. Have had a good Shepard’s pie here (made traditional with lamb not beef) and a damn fine burger. With pub/​restaurant burgers often suffering this was a pleasant surprise. Even the bacon was perfectly cooked to crispy not crunchy or flabby. The piper’s red is a delicious step up from the mainstream Rickards or Keith’s red. All in all a very fine little pub!

A great neighbourhood pub! I liked their house lager and the service was excellent. Great atmosphere, too.
I wasn’t starving, so I had the chicken fingers with Kentucky BBQ sauce, and it was fantastic. The «lattice» fries were also excellent. Pleasantly surprised!

This place is great!
I have regular meetings in the area one night a week and like to head towards them straight after work just in case there are any TTC delays. Usually I get to the neighborhood with about 45 minutes to eat dinner and Piper’s has become my go to place for a quick bite.
I was ordering the Greek salad every week, because it was relatively cheap and plentiful. It was just replaced by a goat cheese salad on the menu, so I went for the goat cheese instead and now I will never order anything else! It’s big and comes with a generous amount of goat cheese and grilled vegetables. Hands down the best salad I’ve ordered at a pub.
The menu specifies that you can order the fish and chips gluten-​free, so one day I will have to relinquish salad in order to re-​experience another food I thought I’d never eat again… but the salad is good enough that it’s going to take awhile to try anything else.
They’re always great about my requests for the bill early (I often ask for it when the food comes out).

I love Piper’s!!! I was here during Salsa on St Clair and went in and out of the bar maybe 10 times, we just kept coming back. The service was amazing, the owner was such a sweetheart and the crown was great. The space is cute and small, the patio is in the perfect location for the festival or in general. It’s pretty small, but cozy :)
Beer was cheap, we paid something like 18 bucks for 3 party size cups. I spilled a whole beer and didn’t feel bad? Alcohol abuse, I know…
The food was also yummy, hot wings were bomb but I need to come back and a) try more food and b) B-​E SOBER!

Friendly service, outdoor seating and decent food.
We came here because I was craving wings and the Hubster was craving a patio. A patio seat on St. Clair Ave. West isn’t the best spot to be, particularly after a soccer game finishes. We ordered two pounds of wings and an order of lattice fries. The wings actually came with homefries, but I didn’t actually see that. It was a nice surprise and they were pretty good, but come on. LATTICE FRIES! The wings were pretty good, the piper hot (hottest ones) were REALLY hot. They were very generous with the habanero peppers. Taste wise, they were just okay. Nothing special.
Note, when we were there, two separate families with their toddlers were there, too. The place has a kid’s menu, so it might not be the best place to be if you like to swear a lot.
The patio is tiny. It has two tables and seats maybe 6 at the very most. We didn’t really go inside at all. Service was friendly and quick.
