Purchased some lunar new year treats(lai see packets and chocolate covered fortune cookies) for my co-workers and everyone loved it! Michelle wrapped each cookie in individual cellophane bags and put a pretty red ribbon on each bag and the presentation was so so so pretty, that my co-workers didn’t even want to eat the cookies because the«packaging» was so pretty! I would absolutlely recommend this shop for its customer service and the way the workers pay attention to detail.(Items are a little pricey though. One red packet and fortune cookie cost $ 3.88 plus tax($ 4.38 in total.)

If I’m in the mood for fancy chocolate, this Purdy’s location is so convenient! Located in the underground complex by Yonge and Bloor subway station, it’s hard to resist picking up some sweets. The service here is friendly and they have a good selection of truffles, pre-wrapped chocolates, and gift sets. Also, they have a make-your-own ice cream bar station! O_O Love Purdy’s!

Me and chocolate go together as well as oil and water. However, I bought some chocolates here for my co-workers as part of nice guy act for the Christmas(I’ll be the Grinch in January). Their chocolates are very extravagant, however it is pure chocolate and is much better than your normal chocolate bars. They are also priced that way. However, what I really liked here is the service. They were more than willing to help you out once you come into store and give you recommendations. One thing I liked was that I bought chocolate letters and the K was broken and I didn’t notice it(I think I might have broke it too because I’m a clutz) but they noticed it right away and replaced it with one that was in mint condition. Props to their customer service and honestly.
