Overpriced and snobby. Cost nearly double what Ladybug cost for delivery. Quince is 300 meters from the delivery. Ladybug is 7 km. Similar flowers better on phone, lower cost delivery. Quince lost my business due to over price and snobbish behaviour. Ladybug had gotten many repeats from me.

Terrible in all aspects! Poor service, poor product and over priced! It doesn’t get much worse for a flower shop… Flowers were wilted when we got them and they died without ever opening. Brought them back to show the staff and I’ve never been treated so poorly! They did nothing to remedy the situation even though it was clearly a poor product that they had sold me.

Very disappointing customer service. My sister and I wanted a very special arrangement sent to my parents on the day of their 50th Wedding anniversary and I guess my sister had either had good experiences with Quince or had heard good things. So we ordered an arrangement(cost $ 185) to be delivered the day of their anniversary, which was Friday. Turns out that my parents had unexpectedly left for the weekend. So the delivery person left the arrangement at the neighbor’s house and my parents returned home on Monday to find the flowers mostly dead. I understand that it’s not Quince’s fault that my parents weren’t home(we had no idea they were away). However, don’t most florists have a plan in place for recipients not being home? It would have been nice if they had called my sister to find out what to do. We would have much preferred that they take them back to refrigeration and my parents could have picked up themselves on Monday. The neighbor was not happy to be left with the delivery. And why were the flowers mostly dead only three days later? The employee was quite friendly when my family members called to complain and suggested that the store could offer some kind of credit. However, when my mother spoke to the owner she said the owner was very snippy about it which offended my mother. All in all, given the cost of the arrangement, and given the circumstances, I think the florist could have done a much nicer job of making some kind of conciliatory gesture. We’re talking about an arrangement of almost $ 200! And the occasion was special and we were hoping for a nice experience for my parents. I’d love to be able to update this post and tell you all that Quince made good but I’m not sure that’s likely to happen.

I was out of town for Valentine’s Day this year and called Quince to whip up something nice for my significant other. They were easy to work with and created a stunning arrangement. Their designs are very modern and unique and are much hipper than your typical floral arrangements. If you want to send something a little funky that gets noticed… Quince is the place.

I am a huge fan of Quince Flowers. Not only are their arrangements incredibly beautiful, but they are wonderful people to work with. I had Genevieve and her team design my flower arrangements for my wedding and their design skills, service, and attention to detail were exceptional. I wanted flowers that had a contemporary feel but not too architectural– and they understood exactly how to translate the design elements in my wedding into the floral design. We had a slew of compliments from our guests on the exquisite quality and taste level of the arrangements. We didn’t have a huge budget to work with for flowers compared to other weddings, but they made it a point to stick to our numbers and produce the best they could within the given framework. Since then, I’ve purchased arrangements as gifts from Quince and each time they have done an exceptional job.

ive popped into quince flowers twice now and not bought anything. and not because i didnt want to. it feels tropical and festive in there. its flush with beautiful displays, cactii, large plants, dry flowers, interesting pots, small plants and a fridge full of vibrantly coloured flowers. as you walk up to the side street entrance, they have it lined with large vases, and other cool plant accesories. both times i went in there were two different sets of staff. the first time, it was two men, and the second two women. all four were very welcoming, and knowledgeable… so much so that i tried to describe a plant i bought somewhere in east chinatown and they were able to give me a name for it which to be expected was not available when i got it. i also asked them how to take care of a particular plant which i had my own version of at home and they were delighted not only to tell me how, but to also give me the tag that was tied to the gargantuan lovely one they had in the store for me to take home. Each plant that is there has a large tag on it with its name, care instructions and price written on it and they are very easy to read. i will come back here the next time need a bouquet and/or an addition to my own little jungle at home.
