Went there on Aug 18, and that is the last time I will go there, If you want a quickie mani/pedi this is your place, the girl did not even soak my nails before doing the mani, the way she cut my nails I now will have to go to my usual place to have them redone as I am developing hang nails already. Don’t waste your time or money

Came here to get my shellac removed and to reapply a different colour. They weren’t busy at all so I got served right away. They provided me with the colours that they had available and they quickly got to work. The removal was painless and easy. I have had a bad experience where they filed my nails way tooo much and my nails looked a mess. That wasn’t the case here thankfully! She did a great job fixing the shape of nails and reapplying the nail polish. Overall a positive experience. They gave you a tiny hand massage at the end. a couple places I have been to are a little better in that department but whatever I wasn’t coming in for a massage anyway. So now my figures look fab and the total came to 35 plus tax. 5 was for the removal of my previous shellac and then 30 for the shellac manicure. The pricing is pretty on par with other salons in the area. Ps. it’s been 2 weeks and my Shellac is in pretty mint condition. typically it lasts a week and then I’m regretting having invested $ in my nails… but I have been impressed! Def. Coming back :)

I’m a regular here and though I’ve gone elsewhere and have spent nearly double for the same services, I keep coming back to Rainbow Nails. Their service, quality and great staff make going there a no-brainer. Great selection of shellac colours too… fantastic overall!

Although I’d been here a few times for decent pedicures in the summer, I recently visited for a manicure(biogel, nail extension with a shellac overlay) and was extremely happy with the warm service. I requested a unique design that the nail technician had never done before, and in spite of it being close to closing time, she very sweetly offered to indulge my request. The end result was fab!

Alright, altho I started off being a fan of this place the more I went the less impressed I became. They do a decent mani/pedi — but honestly — I want a great mani/pedi. If I can find the problems in the quality of cuticle cutting as I leave, that’s unacceptable. Also — waxing — it ain’t great. It’s not terrible enough to convince me to spend more, but it is terrible enough to force me to go elsewhere. The reason I think their waxing is sub-par is for two reasons: 1) They tend to miss a lot of hairs 2) The wax and/or technique they use breaks a lot of hairs rather than pulls them out, which means I am plucking away a few days later. I am going to go on a mission to find a better place near my house!
