RF Health Centre – Forest Hill Massage

I also bought a groupon massage for one hour.
It was a clean room and he asked me to undress completely and I said no, to which he was very accommodating. I wear my tank top and pants but it was comfortable. They didn’t ask what type of massage I want. it was good overall but I felt it was odd that he didn’t ask and plus, they didn’t ask me about any medical history or anything.
I don’t know if they are RMT but the experience was good overall. I fell asleep at the end and that was very satisfying!

I was going to wait until after our 2^nd visit to write this review however it turns out there will not be a returning visit so I will be writing this review based on the service and over the phone service that I received.
I bought 4 Groupon vouchers for this location after checking reviews. Before buying I always make sure I read the fine print that it does not say «new customers only» OR «first visit only». None of this was in the fine print so I went ahead and bought 4. I called in December to make a reservation in January, I made sure to tell them I had vouchers and requested to get a couples room. They said that was fine.
Jump to the day of our reservation, the location is upstairs and it is a very small space with 1 large couples room and 1 or 2 separate rooms.
We were told that there is another couple in the room and that they bought more time. We were told they would be done in a half an hour, she would give me a call to come over. After killing some time at the Starbucks across the street I called them after half an hour. She told me they were not finished and she would call me. I would say after an hour I believe had passed we had finally had enough and decided to wait at the centre instead. I was pretty ticked off that she did not do anything to make us feel better about double booking clients. After getting settled into the beds, I realize that it is the lady/​receptionist who is giving my massage. The massage was good minus the parts where she was doing this pinching motion up and down my body. Was she a trained massage therapist? I’m not sure. Near the end the towels they used felt really grainy and used. My BF I can tell enjoyed his massage and I’m glad he did. The massages were good and I was glad to have tried them.
Now fast forward to this week when I tried to make a reservation for the last 2 vouchers. I called them and was told that our 2 vouchers were not valid because it was first visit only. I told her the fine print did not say so, she said we were told at our last visit. We were not told. So I told her I will request a refund from Groupon then since we could not use our vouchers and she said okay. Refund then call back and we have special for couples 60 mins $ 98. I replied with I’ll see. She said Okay bye bye. I made sure to send them an email to let them know to update their Groupon page fine print. I got a reply saying «Thank you for understanding. We will make sure to update.» No apologies for the inconvenience, no accommodation for helping us to use our vouchers with them. They simply did not care.
I emailed Groupon and they offered to get the vender to honour the vouchers I’ve bought, however I requested to get a refund. I’d rather not have them half assing our massages and causing any harm. Kudos to Groupon for being the bigger person.

Im shocked this place has such a high rating.
I walked in for my 12pm appointment which they had no knowledge of. They tried to pass the blame by asking when I booked (which was over a week ago.) They informed me I’ll have to wait because no one is available.
I waited, and one woman finished up with her client and immediately directed me into the room. Meaning they didn’t change the table at all.
The massage was painful and unpleasant. She moved in jarring motions and would go from my back to attacking my shoulders in an instant.
She used so much massage oil it was dripping from her hands.
She oiled her hands and then aggressively pulled my hair up, and did this so many times that my hair actually looked wet from the excessive amount of oil. Not sure why I showered before, since I had to shower again afterward.
Worst offense: she pulled my underwear past my bum (so they were hanging off, no longer covering my intimate area) and did so without warning or asking.
She left the room to grab her phone and proceeded to text while massaging me with one hand, multiple times throughout the massage.
I will never return and feel so uncomfortable.

I visited the spa with my friend for a couple massage. The whole time the massage therapists were chatting loudly and laughing not letting us enjoy the process. The worst experience with customer service. The massage, however, was pretty good. Will not go back there.

Scam with use of Groupon. Before buying my vouchers I called them and they stated they have an R.M.T so I can claim on work benefits.
When you show up they tell you no R.M.T with groupon and if you want R.M.T receipt for massage you have to pay full price.
This is nothing more than «bait and switch» I wasted my time paying for parking etc and time and the nerve of these people to tell me one thing prior to buying a groupon voucher and then changing their story after you have paid for the vouchers.
Stay away!

I bought a groupon for a one hour massage and it was very well done. The massage room itself is very nice and relaxing, but the washroom was like a home bathroom.
Overall i would come back again with insurance or another groupon (which was a one time thing).

Honestly one of the best massages I’ve had. My therapist had great intuition and quickly honed in on the areas I needed worked most. I left feeling like I was floating on air. Worth every penny.

My wife and I made a last minute reservation for a couples massage on a Sunday morning. When we arrived the staff was extremely pleasant and courteous. Our massage was very relaxing and we especially appreciated the attention to the small details that really made it memorable. We would definitely go back.

I also purchased the Groupon massage deal for a 1 hour massage. I agree with everything M.B. mentioned in the other review. They treated me like a valued client and I would readily recommend the RMT service. This isn’t a «fancy» spa but the space was clean and inviting. And it was easy to relax in the quiet environment without background noise. Check them out!

I purchased a Groupon for a 1hr massage here. Anyone who uses vouchers like that knows that sometimes, you never know what you will get.
At RF, I was pleasantly surprised!
I feel like they acted exactly the way a business should when they use a deal site to generate new business– treat them like full price paying clients.
I was greeted and taken care of by Lai-​Ling (spelling?), a RMT. From the beginning she was very warm, friendly and expressed genuine concern for my comfort for the entire duration of my visit.
The massage was fabulous. The perfect amount of pressure the whole time without me having to ask, even though she checked with me multiple times to ensure I was still comfortable.
The Spa was very clean and comfortable and the regular prices are very reasonable. I would not hesitate to go back or to recommend to anyone.
